The Tennessee House of Representatives just delivered a gut punch to Democrats that’s got the left in full panic mode. Lawmakers passed a brand new congressional map that carves up Memphis and eliminates what used to be the Democrats’ only guaranteed district in the state.

The 9th congressional district — long considered a Democrat lock — is now split along completely redrawn lines. That means the left’s stranglehold on at least one seat in Tennessee is over.

And Democrats did not take it well. Lawmakers on the left side of the aisle started screaming at the top of their lungs as the vote went through.

The scene inside the Tennessee statehouse was absolute bedlam. Shouting, finger-pointing, and outright rage from Democrats who just watched their safe seat vanish into thin air.
