January 1, Decorated Navy Heroes EXPLODE Over Shocking Military Betrayal

Wyatt’s Take
- Retired admirals are calling it an ‘insult to every sailor’ — the Navy is naming a warship after a president who dodged Vietnam and gutted military readiness
- Bill Clinton’s legacy includes massive defense cuts, a ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ disaster, and a commander-in-chief who never wore the uniform
- This decision spits in the face of veterans who actually served while Clinton avoided the draft and weakened our national security
The United States Navy just made a decision that has decorated military heroes seeing red. Top brass want to name a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier after Bill Clinton — a man who dodged the Vietnam draft and spent eight years weakening American military might.
Retired admirals and Navy veterans aren’t mincing words. They’re calling this an absolute disgrace.
“This is an insult to every sailor who ever served,” one decorated officer told reporters.
Let’s remember what Bill Clinton actually did for the military. He slashed defense spending to the bone, leaving our armed forces underfunded and unprepared. He instituted the disastrous “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that created chaos in the ranks. And most importantly — he never served a single day in uniform.
While young Americans were fighting and dying in Vietnam, Clinton was writing letters about how much he “loathed the military.” He pulled every string available to avoid the draft. Now the Navy wants to honor him with one of the most prestigious symbols of American sea power?
Aircraft carriers aren’t just ships. They’re floating cities of American strength, each one named to honor the greatest Americans who defended this nation. We’re talking about vessels named after war heroes, founding fathers, and presidents who actually understood sacrifice.
Clinton’s presidency saw the military gutted. Defense budgets were slashed by hundreds of billions. Training exercises were canceled. Equipment went without maintenance. Our readiness ratings plummeted to dangerous levels.
Veterans groups are already mobilizing against this decision. They remember the 1990s all too well — when morale was in the basement and our troops were stretched impossibly thin across the globe with inadequate support.
The carrier naming commission clearly forgot who they’re supposed to honor. This isn’t about politics — it’s about respecting the sacrifice of those who actually wore the uniform and defended America when it mattered most.
“We name carriers after leaders who strengthened the Navy, not politicians who weakened it,” another retired admiral pointed out.
The timing couldn’t be worse either. As China builds up its navy at record pace and Russia grows more aggressive, we’re naming our newest supercarrier after a president whose foreign policy failures and military neglect left America vulnerable.
This decision sends exactly the wrong message to the brave men and women serving today. It tells them that political connections matter more than service, that avoiding duty gets rewarded just like fulfilling it.
Our sailors deserve better. Our veterans deserve better. America deserves better than seeing Bill Clinton’s name on the stern of a warship he never would have defended and a military he actively undermined.
Wyatt Matters
When you’ve got retired admirals calling a carrier naming an insult, that tells you everything. Our military traditions mean something — they honor real sacrifice and actual service. Slapping a politician’s name on a warship just because he occupied the Oval Office cheapens what these carriers represent. The folks who served remember the hollowed-out 1990s military, and they’re not staying quiet while their Navy gets turned into a political participation trophy case.

The questions that need answers are, who makes up the carrier naming commission, & can we as citizens do anything to stop it from happening?
