January 1, Antifa Leader Gets Century Behind Bars After Violent Attack

Wyatt’s Take
- Antifa terror cell leader Benjamin Song received a 100-year prison sentence for orchestrating a deadly attack on a Texas ICE facility on Independence Day 2025
- Seven other Antifa operatives were also sentenced in connection with the violent assault that targeted federal immigration enforcement officers
- This landmark sentencing sends a powerful message that domestic terrorism will be met with the full force of American justice
The Department of Justice handed down a century-long prison sentence Tuesday to Benjamin Song, the ringleader of an Antifa terror cell that attacked a Texas Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility. The attack occurred on July 4, 2025, a deliberate choice that shows the contempt these radicals have for American independence and law enforcement.
Seven additional Antifa operatives received sentences for their roles in the coordinated assault on federal officers. The DOJ prosecuted the case as domestic terrorism, marking a significant shift in how authorities treat violent far-left extremism.
The attack targeted ICE agents working to enforce immigration law at a federal facility in Texas. Details of the assault reveal a premeditated operation designed to inflict maximum damage on law enforcement personnel carrying out their constitutional duties.
Song orchestrated the Independence Day attack as a symbolic strike against American sovereignty and border security. His 100-year sentence effectively ensures he will spend the rest of his life behind bars, removed from society and unable to recruit or radicalize others.
Federal prosecutors built their case on evidence showing Song’s leadership role in planning and executing the terror attack. The lengthy sentence reflects the severity of targeting federal law enforcement officers who protect our borders and enforce immigration law.
The seven co-conspirators received varying sentences based on their individual roles in the attack. Each faced federal terrorism charges that carry mandatory minimum sentences, ensuring substantial prison time for all involved.
This prosecution represents one of the most significant legal actions taken against Antifa operatives in recent years. For too long, these masked militants operated with relative impunity, attacking police officers, burning cities, and terrorizing communities while prosecutors in liberal jurisdictions looked the other way.
The choice of July 4th as the attack date wasn’t accidental. These radicals specifically targeted America’s birthday to make a statement against the nation itself, against border enforcement, and against the rule of law that keeps communities safe.
ICE facilities have become frequent targets for far-left extremists who oppose any enforcement of immigration law. Officers working at these facilities face regular threats and harassment from activists who view border security as fundamentally illegitimate.
The 100-year sentence sends an unmistakable message to other would-be domestic terrorists. Attack federal officers, and you will face consequences that end your life as a free person. No more slaps on the wrist, no more catch-and-release, no more sympathetic judges letting violent radicals walk.
Song’s terror cell operated in the shadows, recruiting members and planning violence against immigration enforcement targets. The FBI’s investigation uncovered the full scope of their operations, leading to the arrests and subsequent convictions of all eight cell members.
Federal law enforcement agencies have increased scrutiny of Antifa networks following this attack. The group’s decentralized structure makes prosecution difficult, but this case proves that determined investigators can penetrate their cells and bring leaders to justice.
The victims of this attack were federal officers simply doing their jobs, enforcing laws passed by Congress and upholding the Constitution. They didn’t deserve to become targets of domestic terrorists who reject the legitimacy of American law enforcement.
What This Means
When terrorists attack the men and women who protect our borders, they attack every American who believes in the rule of law. This sentence proves that justice still works when prosecutors take domestic terrorism seriously. Our ICE agents put their lives on the line every day to keep communities safe from illegal immigration and criminal aliens. They deserve our support and the full protection of federal law. This landmark prosecution shows what happens when the justice system finally treats far-left violence with the same seriousness it applies to other forms of domestic terrorism.

Believe me. Antifa was responsible for J6 fiasco. Those videos of masked people smashing windows to get in were republicans. BLM activists were there to. They both infiltrated the crowds of Trump supporters on January 6 and created riot.
