January 1, SHOCKING Sentence Handed Down After Congressman Threatened With Execution
Wyatt’s Take
- A deranged leftist who threatened to execute a Republican congressman just got sentenced to prison — but the real question is why these violent threats against conservatives keep happening
- The attacker told staff he wanted to shoot the congressman in the head, proving once again that political violence is being normalized against the right
- Two-and-a-half years behind bars isn’t nearly enough for threatening to murder an elected official, but at least justice was served
A dangerous man who made violent threats against Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie learned his fate Friday. Benjamin Keebler was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in federal prison after pleading guilty in March to cyberstalking and threatening a congressman.
The charges stem from Keebler’s shocking threat to shoot Massie in the head. He made the violent statement directly to congressional staff, showing the brazen nature of his attack.
This case highlights a disturbing pattern of violence and threats directed at conservative lawmakers. While the media obsesses over January 6th, they conveniently ignore the constant stream of actual threats against Republicans serving in Congress.
Massie has been a consistent conservative voice in the House, standing up for constitutional principles and limited government. That apparently made him a target for Keebler’s rage.
The federal court in Kentucky handed down the sentence after Keebler admitted his guilt. Two-and-a-half years may seem light for threatening to assassinate a member of Congress, but at least prosecutors took the case seriously.
Federal law enforcement investigated the threats and brought charges that stuck. Keebler will now spend significant time behind bars for his actions.
The cyberstalking element of the case shows how online harassment can quickly escalate into real-world danger. What starts as angry messages can turn into credible threats of violence.
Massie’s office had to take the threats seriously and coordinate with law enforcement to ensure the congressman’s safety. No elected official should have to work under the shadow of death threats.
This sentencing sends a message that threatening violence against lawmakers won’t be tolerated. Federal prosecutors pursued the case aggressively and secured a guilty plea.
Wyatt Matters
Our elected representatives shouldn’t need security details just to do their jobs. When someone threatens to shoot a congressman in the head, they’re attacking our entire system of government. This sentence should serve as a warning — political violence has no place in America, no matter who you voted for or what you believe.

I’ve heard plenty of similar threats against the president and other elected officials from some much more prominent people who went totally unpunished. Shouldn’t they also be in jail? What gives?

I agree seems as if politicians and Hollywood types have been rather immune for their spastic garbage and hate spewing episodes

Time for longer sentences and stripping them of their Congressional Retirement. Money is why they are up in Congress and if is stripped away there might be some improvement in their actions and words spouted from their mouths.

Because main stream media keeps pushing for the attack narrative. Every time a threat is made or carried out against a republican or conservative somebody from the media needs to be executed. They are the motherfuckers causing all of these attacks. Fuckin useless DemonRats.
