Wyatt’s Take

  • A federal judge just scheduled a July 15 trial date for former FBI Director James Comey, moving a major accountability case forward after years of delays and stonewalling
  • This marks a critical step toward holding deep state operatives accountable for their actions during and after the 2016 election interference saga
  • Working Americans have waited far too long to see corrupt Washington insiders face real consequences in a real courtroom

A federal judge has set a trial date in the case against former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey. The trial is scheduled to begin on July 15, marking a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings.

The case moves forward after years of controversy surrounding Comey’s tenure at the FBI. His decisions during the 2016 election cycle and subsequent actions have remained lightning rods for conservative criticism.

The July trial date puts the former FBI chief on a definitive timeline for facing legal scrutiny. For millions of Americans who believe the intelligence community overstepped its authority, this represents a long-awaited moment of accountability.

Comey’s actions as FBI Director included controversial decisions about the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the origins of the Trump-Russia probe. Both episodes sparked intense debate about political bias within federal law enforcement agencies.

The scheduling of this trial demonstrates that even high-ranking government officials cannot escape judicial review. The wheels of justice may turn slowly, but they continue to turn.

With a firm trial date now on the calendar, both sides will prepare their cases for public examination. The proceedings promise to shed light on decisions made at the highest levels of the FBI during a tumultuous period in American politics.

Why This Matters

For hardworking Americans tired of watching Washington elites play by different rules, this trial date represents something simple but powerful: nobody is above the law. When bureaucrats in expensive suits make decisions affecting millions of lives, they should answer for those decisions in open court, just like anyone else would have to do.

We want there to be the same justice for ‘them’ as there would be for us. We just don’t want to have answers and then it all goes away. We want jail time mostly to send the message that this is what will happen when you try to do ‘it’ again.
