Wyatt’s Take

  • Secretary of War Pete Hegseth lifted the suspension on the Army pilots.
  • The pilots had been reviewed after a flyby near Kid Rock’s Tennessee home.
  • Hegseth praised the crew and shut down further punishment.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stepped in to save military pilots who were suspended for flying over Kid Rock’s home.

The singer posted a video showing the Apache helicopters hovering near his Tennessee property while he saluted the crews.

The incident began when Kid Rock shared the footage on social media, drawing millions of views and massive support from fans.

The helicopters had departed from Fort Campbell for a flight to Nashville when they passed by the rocker’s estate.

Military officials initially claimed an administrative review was needed to assess the mission and professional standards.

However, Hegseth shut down the investigation before it could penalize the crew.

“Thank you Kid Rock,” Hegseth wrote on social media.

“U.S. Army pilots’ suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots.”

A spokesperson for the 101st Airborne Division previously stated the flight path near the celebrity’s home was entirely coincidental.

The Army had warned that appropriate action would be taken for violations, but that threat was neutralized by the Secretary.

Wyatt Matters

It is refreshing to see leadership that backs our troops instead of punishing them for showing a little American spirit. We need a military that focuses on strength and morale rather than red tape and investigations into every patriotic gesture.

Interesting how there’s no such thing as waste in the army which is the largest and laziest welfare queen of them all.

Sounds like you ought to move to Connecticut , you’ll be happy there and if not New York is only a hop skip and a jump away.

According to the map, they flew almost right over Kid Rocks home which is 20 miles NW of where they were going in Nashville. They were coming from Fort Campbell which is 63 miles NW of Nashville. There was no waste in the flight. And there is no welfare in the Army. I served 36 years in the Army and my last 15 years I AVERAGED over 100 hours a week and three years in combat. Get a life.

I agree with NUNYA, Kyle Hamilton needs to get a life, join the military and find out what really goes on. I have more than 30 years in the military service and have been on duty more hours than I care to admit. Do it again damn right, MAGA
