  • Trump says DOJ cleared him in Epstein probe

President Trump said it’s “a shame” and “very sad” for the royal family after ex-Prince Andrew was arrested over his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump described the scandal as “so bad” for the royals, sharing sympathy with their situation.

“I think it’s a shame. I think it’s very sad, I think it’s so bad for the royal family…to me, it’s a very sad thing.”

King Charles III promised his family would cooperate with the authorities in the investigation. He removed Andrew’s royal titles last year after the scandal grew. Trump praised King Charles, calling him a “fantastic man” ahead of the King’s visit to the U.S. for the Semiquincentennial.

Trump claimed he could speak out since he was “totally exonerated” by the Department of Justice’s release of files in the Epstein case. He said, “I’m the one that can talk about it because I’ve been totally exonerated. I did nothing. In fact, the opposite — he was against me.”

Police arrested Andrew on accusations of misconduct for sharing secret documents with Epstein. He was taken into custody at Sandringham House and later seen leaving the police station. The investigation is still underway.

Virginia Giuffre, who says she was trafficked by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, accused Andrew of abusing her as a teen, though Andrew denies any wrongdoing.

Your headline is misleading! It made it sound like Trump was saying the arrest itself was shameful, not the necessity for it.

Were I in a power position I am not sure I would have been called upon by Epstein as there were certainly so many who had been called upon by Epstein. Still not sure why he did all the damage he did and documented it with cameras, but know that he had his employees document all who came into contact with him or who rode on his jets.

Very sad this happened, but those who are miles ahead of me financiallyy live by completely different rules that overage people and now most are being exposed.

THE SHAMEFUL PART IS THAT AN INDIVIDUAL SHAMES HIMSELF, HIS FAMILY, HIS LEGACY AND HIS COUNTRY BY HIS ACTIONS. THE WORST PART IS THAT HE APPEARS NOT TO BE BOTHERED BY IT AT ALL. CONSEQUENCES OF BEHAVIOR IS NO RESPECTOR OF PERSON.

There is a big difference in saying something is “shameful”, implying it was not warranted and something is a shame, implying that the act itself was a sad thing FOR THE FAMILY. The headline is very misleading, and in fact deceitful as Trump did not use the word shameful. Poor reporting.

Typical reporting when the narrative isn’t being met.

I am no longer interested in reading any of your articles since you have inserted the obnoxious why it takes in front of every first sentence. Incredibly poor English and quite frankly it just is stupid. There is no need to put Wyatt’s take at the beginning of every article annoying your readers.
