The Senate is divided as Democrats push to block money for the Department of Homeland Security after a deadly shooting in Minneapolis. Former DHS Secretary Chad Wolf says Democrats’ move to shut down the government is because ICE is following what Congress told it to do.
“Democrats want to shut down the government… because ICE is doing its job that Congress told them to do,” Wolf said Saturday. He called their reasoning “bizarre.”
Senator Chuck Schumer and his party say the current funding bill doesn’t do enough to address problems with ICE. They’re ready to block it, even though that could mean a partial shutdown as deadlines get close.
If it happens, some federal services may stop, but Wolf says that won’t stop ICE or Border Patrol from doing their jobs. “They’ll be on a continuing resolution, most likely. If the government shuts down, most of them will be exempt, making sure that they’re continuing to carry out national security and taking criminals off the street.”

You can shut down the government but God can raise it up just like He brought the Democrats down. The Lord sees, hears and knows everything. Be careful Democrats. Joe Biden voted for abortion and that’s a no no with God. Seems to me that the only reason the dims want to rein in ICE is because their actions are a direct threat to their goal of absolute power and control.
