January 1, Federal Billions Lost to Fraud Each Year

- Up to 10% of federal money is lost to fraud yearly.
- Treasury Secretary says waste is stealing from Americans.
- Fixing this could make our country safer and stronger.
Nearly a tenth of what the government spends might be wasted through fraud every year. That’s hundreds of billions of dollars not going where it should, but instead filling pockets through scams and bad deals.
“If we can get rid of this waste, fraud, and abuse, we can finance a safer U.S. with that,” said Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Bessent says the numbers are backed by the Government Accountability Office. He talked about these problems with conservative journalists and explained the need to crack down on fraud.
“Benefits have been turned into businesses,” Bessent said. He pointed to waste as a major reason for rising costs and fewer results.
Bessent also mentioned that he agrees with people like Elon Musk who want to tackle corruption and waste head-on.
It’s time for those in charge to put hardworking Americans first and stop letting our money slip through the cracks.

Why are democrats so afraid of exposing fraud? The fraud that’s been exposed in Minnesota is unbelievable, and we’re now finding out it’s happening in other states as well! These fraudsters need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and pay restitution, and then any foreign born fraudsters need to be deported back to their countries of origin! The Replacement”Theory” isn’t a Theory it is a program to flood the United States with illegals who democrats assume will always democrat keeping democrats in power indefinitely, and that is precisely why democrats oppose voter lD, so that illegals can vote our elections and illegally receive benefits that are ment for American citizens in need of government assistance! But democrats don’t care about American citizens, they only crave an absolute and infinite Orwellian Marxist Dictatorship!
