Wyatt’s Take

  • Democrat leaders have begun signaling they’re ready to abandon political norms
  • Recent violent acts highlight real consequences of heated rhetoric
  • The right must find stronger ways to hold the left accountable

Democrats are now using plain language about leaving old rules behind. This points toward a harsher political climate, where violence isn’t off the table.

In a recent interview, Charlie Kirk discussed how politics can fuel acts of violence.

“I don’t like politicizing situations like [the murder of Iryna Zarutska], but it just necessitates it because there are so many dynamics at play here.”

Shortly after those words, Kirk was assassinated. This wasn’t random — it was political at its core. Democrat voices, like Ken Martin, have used fighting words, admitting their side has stopped playing by the book.

It’s not just talk. When left-wing leaders shrug off the rules, it ripples into the streets.

“We cannot be the only party that plays by the rules anymore,” Martin said.

For too long, conservatives believed facts and debates would be enough. But when the other side uses raw power, that’s a losing game. Now, there must be a clear move toward strong legal action and real pushback, if the right wants to stay in the fight.

No one wants more violence, but pain can come in many forms, including aggressive investigations and prosecutions. The left’s leaders show no signs of stopping the chaos from their side, so someone else will have to.

Fear isn’t an option for Americans who want true democracy and a strong future. The message is clear: the rules are changing, and it’s time to recognize what that means.

“Excuse me when all of a sudden I try to make the left live by their own moral standard,” Kirk said in his last podcast. “And that’s what I’m doing.”
