January 1, Waltz & Hegseth Pressured to Quit—Gabbard Says No Secrets Shared

Published

on

Senator Ron Wyden, a Democrat from Oregon, wants National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to quit their jobs. He’s upset because there might have been a big mix-up with our country’s secrets.

What happened was that Tulsi Gabbard, who’s the Director of National Intelligence, promised that no secret stuff was shared in a chat on an app called Signal. But an editor from The Atlantic magazine said they saw a discussion about a U.S. operation in Yemen in that chat with top officials.

This story is still unfolding, so stay tuned for more updates.

Wyatt Matters!

It’s very important to keep our country’s secrets safe. When a leader promises to protect these secrets and then someone claims they saw them being talked about in a place they shouldn’t be, it’s a big worry. It makes people wonder if our information is being kept secure, which is needed to keep us all safe.

Leaders like Senator Ron Wyden want the people in charge to be careful with our secrets. If they find out something went wrong, they think those responsible should take the blame and leave their jobs. It’s about making sure only the right people see important information and that our leaders can be trusted to do what they say.

While we don’t know all the facts yet, it’s clear that keeping secrets safe is really important. As the story develops, everyone is waiting to hear what really happened. It’s a reminder that people who have important jobs need to handle information carefully.

I want to know how the editor got on, or who put him on?
That’s when I will decide how I feel about this.

I’m thinking that Wyden is the one who should quit. As a legislator he could introduce a bill to replace Signal with something else but since he hasn’t then he should resign in disgrace!

I agree 100% that Wyden should’ve been fired by Orgonians years ago! The advent of mail in ballots began in Oregon in the 80’s. “Stupid is as stupid does.” The mail in ballots successfully prevented another Gop Govenor. The current regime in the ‘Oregon house’ is currently in this session pushing through a creation that will prevent any future leadership by conservatives, ever. Also in this session they are gaining control of all private wells, and the nation’s largest gun grab in the country. I encourage anyone reading this to look to Oregon as your precedence setting future.

Where were these people the last 4 years when we were in constant danger from looking so weak. Using signal was a Biden Administration deal. All of them use it and I’m interested in why the journalist held it 4 nine days. If we were in such danger, why didn’t he tell anybody? I think he had something to do with this whole deal. He basically said screw the American people, I’m gonna hold this story until I can use it to help myself.

One theory to be explored was if the telephone numbers of the recipients matched with the names of the actual recipients.

Look at the lies and immorality the nation has put up with when Joe Biden was inserted. Dad is now gone thanks to mandated and forced covid shots. J6 was not insurrection and all generated to war against the American citizens. The left lost me oh about a decade ago. If AOC ever makes senator thank Dominion.

Becoming apparent that Goldberg was set up as reliable leaker who sat on this”breaking news” item for 9 days to drop it on a Congressional hearing. Not very patriotic, even less sign of good journalism. If it was so vital it would have been reported immediately. Goalk was to let this idiot let this out so Europe could hear U.S. warn them to shape up or expect U.S. to walk away and let them deal with Russia alone.

I knew kool-aid was a popular drink but damn. Seems all these folks have
had their fill. It is quite evident the security protocol was violated. Fess up and move on. They all knew better and were just too lazy to do it right. Using an unsecure phone on an unsecure app, in Moscow? really? And that is defensible? Really republican MAGA? You have drunk the kool-aid!

Signal is the officially used secure and encrypted app the US government installs on its government issued phones. The CIA considers it the most secure app you can use. Just because this group was on a group chat doesn’t mean secrets were discussed, they could have been planning lunch for all we know. What we do know is they discussed a publicly known operation that had already occurred. Nothing secret there. This is just a bunch of hot air, and typical empty hand wringing

Why are we spending even five minutes on this crap. And why are we allowing the democrats to put us in a corner and making us answer for anything that happens? They spent four plus years ignoring court orders, Supreme Court decisions. We have to stop thinking that we have to answer to them for anything. Do what needs to be done and push democrats out of the way and move forward!!!

Would Hegseth or Waltz deny the embarrassment? No. Nor would others in Trump’s cabinet.

The operation went off without a hitch. Now thanks to Atlantic Magazine, European NATO allies know the US’s full displeasure with Europeans’ skimping on defence so as to enjoy nice social programs.

Mainstream media bay so loudly for Hegseth’s and Waltz’s heads because they have no other story to throw in the GOP’s face.

Did they ever complain about the US’s disorderly, headlong flight from Afghanistan when US Marines got killed and $7.12-billion of war equipment were abandoned? If anything fiasco encouraged Putin’s 2d bite from Ukraine. The 1st was as Obama lay asleep.

Happily, the operation went off with a hitch, which owed nothing to skill. Yet, mainstream media will flog this story another week or until it stumbles onto a fresher bone.

Mainstream media decry Hegseth’s and Waltz’s lack of experience. WTF kind of experience do they have in mind? All the way back to Sec Def Forrestal, none save George C Marshall, Jas Mattis or mediocre performer Lloyd Austin had operational military experience above the rank of Major. Hegseth has had operational experience.

Likeliest to serve Hegseth as Sec Def is his keen interest in whipping the services into shape. Aside from his Fox TV job, he has thought of little else. The one element to make a person excel in a job is to have given it deep thought and to have looked at it from all angles. In WWII, Sec Def MacNamara worked on statistical control for the US Army Air Corps. He became Sec Def knowing little about defence.

With Musk’s help, Hegseth will cut more defence bloat than MacNamara ever did. MacNamara knew how to cut, but now what.

Since the operation was a success, Hegseth and Waltz rate another chance esp. since Trump agrees.

At whatever electronic meeting they were having, there might be any number of people involved with the workings of the meeting. All you need is one to deliberately or inadvertently person to do something irregular. Our cabinet members don’t have to be removed as an extreme action.

Ain’t it something how the hypocrite Democrats cover for all of their crooks and a dementia ridden Puppet POTUS; yet, first mistake or possinle setup of a new administration and they freak out on a Gotcha’. There was a successful mission and IF the reporter was added by just initials, more of our record setting transparency by the most accessible Administration EVER.
Thank God for the team we have in the Administration now.
Thank God for POTUS Trump caring about CITIZENS and our USA.
