January 1, Judge Permits New Review of George Floyd’s Heart Evidence For Chauvin’s Appeal

So, here’s what’s going down, folks. In Minnesota, the federal prosecutors aren’t too happy. They’re asking a judge to think again about his choice to let Derek Chauvin, that former Minneapolis cop, check out George Floyd’s heart as part of his appeal. Remember, Chauvin got convicted for going against Floyd’s civil rights.

Now, a judge named Paul Magnuson said Chauvin’s lawyers could take a look at Floyd’s heart tissue and some other medical stuff. They’re trying to see if maybe Floyd had a heart problem that caused his death, not just what Chauvin did.

But the prosecutors, they aren’t buying it. They filed this big 10-page thing on Tuesday saying Chauvin doesn’t have a legal reason to make these requests. They say it’s all based on an email from some doctor who wasn’t even properly vetted.

The prosecutors also say Chauvin had a good defense lawyer before and that not checking out Floyd’s heart was something called a “strategic decision,” which is usually hard to challenge in court.

But Judge Magnuson thinks this evidence might be important. There’s this doctor, Dr. Schaetzel, who told Chauvin’s old lawyer that Floyd maybe died from a heart attack, a specific kind. Chauvin’s new lawyers say he didn’t even know about this before, so nothing was done to confirm it.

Magnuson said that given how serious Chauvin’s case is, he should get the chance to dig deeper, especially if it could support this new theory about Floyd’s death.

Experts have told Fox News Digital that Chauvin should have a fair shot at his appeals, just like anyone else. They believe if this was someone else’s case, the Justice Department might not even be fighting about it.

Chauvin’s also dealing with other stuff. He was convicted on state murder charges too, all because of what happened on Memorial Day back in 2020. We all saw the video of Chauvin holding his knee on Floyd’s neck for over nine minutes, which led to riots across the country.

After Chauvin got convicted, he was attacked by another inmate in federal prison, stabbed 22 times. Some say the attack was linked to the Black Lives Matter movement, which saw a rise after Floyd’s death but has faced criticism for violence during protests.

Chauvin was one of the officers who arrested Floyd over a supposed fake $20 bill at a coffee shop. His appeal over state charges was thrown out by the Supreme Court last year.

We’ll see how this all plays out, folks. Stay tuned and keep your eyes open for more updates.

Wyatt Matters!

The prosecutors in Minnesota are not happy with the decision to let Derek Chauvin’s lawyers examine George Floyd’s heart. They argue that Chauvin doesn’t have a solid legal reason to make these requests. They believe his claims are based on an unverified email from a doctor suggesting Floyd might have had a heart condition. Prosecutors point out that not looking into Floyd’s heart earlier was a “strategic decision” made by Chauvin’s former defense team, something that’s usually hard to overturn later.

Federal Judge Paul Magnuson thinks that more investigation into the evidence could be important. This is because Dr. Schaetzel told Chauvin’s former lawyer that Floyd might have died from a specific kind of heart attack, and Chauvin’s new legal team didn’t know about this before. Judge Magnuson believes that Chauvin should have the chance to investigate further since it could introduce a new perspective about what led to Floyd’s death. Some experts say it’s only fair for Chauvin to explore all options available in his appeals, just like anyone else would be allowed.

Chauvin’s situation remains complex and difficult. Besides the federal civil rights conviction, he was also found guilty of state murder charges related to his actions on Memorial Day in 2020. The incident where Chauvin was seen with his knee on Floyd’s neck caused nationwide protests and unrest. Additionally, Chauvin was attacked in federal prison, reportedly due to tensions related to the Black Lives Matter movement, which grew after Floyd’s death but has faced criticism over incidents of protest violence. Chauvin’s appeal for his state charges was dismissed by the Supreme Court previously, showing how challenging his legal battles have become.

Why isn’t anyone talking about the documentary film about what happened? Please watch the film, “The Fall of Minneapolis”, by Liz Collins.

Floyd was walking talking and minding his own business until a power hungry abuse cop takes him down to the ground for
No reason and chokes the life out of him. Floyd begged he couldn’t breath people all around him were screaming at Chavin to let
Him breath screaming your killing him and this asshole cop had to show how much power police have. Doesn’t matter if
Floyd had a week to live this aggressive cop killed him that day that’s murder period. It doesn’t mater how high or drunk
Floyd was his death was caused by Chavin. Period he should die in prison just the same as any other murderer. He was a
Abusive cop and he belongs in prison. No favoritism because he’s a cop he killed a defenseless person.

Officer Chauvin never should have been dragged through the court system. He is innocent. Only low IQ’s think it is murder by a criminal who was resisting arrest and had several officers trying to contain the drug addict.
Then some low IQ guy in prison stabbed Chauvin 22 times and yelled out black lives matter jargon.

Pardon Chauvin and release him immediately!
