Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B will not face charges following an incident in Las Vegas where she allegedly threw a microphone into her audience, as confirmed by local law enforcement.

After careful examination of the case and discussions with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department concluded that there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

“This case has been closed. No charges will be filed in relation to this case,” a spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital.

The “WAP” singer found herself embroiled in an alleged battery case when she reportedly threw her microphone at a concertgoer who seemed to have hurled a cup at her, according to video footage of the event.

The thrown microphone purportedly ricocheted off one person and hit another.

According to Insider, the fan who reported the incident to the police claimed that she had been hit on her right shoulder by the microphone, insisting that she was not the one who threw the drink.

Cardi B, 30, had previously requested her audience to splash water on her during her performance at Drai’s Beachclub to keep her cool.

She did not anticipate, however, an audience member to hurl a drinking vessel at her.

Representatives for the rapper have been contacted for further comment.

The rapper isn’t the first performer to be on the receiving end of thrown objects during concerts.

Artists including Harry Styles, Kelsea Ballerini, Ariana Grande, and Bebe Rexha have had similar experiences recently.

Rexha had to be hospitalized in June after an alleged iPhone throwing incident by a fan. On her return to the stage in Philadelphia, she made a heartfelt plea to her audience, “Just no phones at my face tonight please, I beg of you.”

Kelly Clarkson, during the first weekend of her Las Vegas residency, humorously warned her audience against throwing anything at her, suggesting if they must, they should “throw diamonds.”

Adele also issued a stern warning during her own Las Vegas residency, expressing her frustration over audience members forgetting show etiquette and throwing objects on stage.

She unequivocally stated, “Dare you throw something at me, and I’ll f—ing kill you.”

If you watch the video above, you’ll clearly see that the person who hurled the water at CB did NOT let go of the cup.
Secondly, did anyone catch the fact that after she threw her mic at the crowd that the singing and music kept playing ?
One has to wonder how much people paid to see her Milli-Vanilli imitation…you know it’s tru
