January 1, Trump Lashes Out at Fox News: ‘RINO Network’
ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1967: 25,000 U.S. and South Vietnamese troops launch Operation Junction City against the Viet Cong — the largest U.S. airborne assault since WWII.
Former President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News after the network failed to cover one of his events, and covered one held by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) instead.
“So interesting to watch [Fox News] cover the small and unenthusiastic 139 person crowd in Staten Island for DeSantis, but stay as far away as possible from coverage of the thousands of people, many unable to get in, at the Club 47 event in West Palm Beach, Florida,” Trump wrote Tuesday in a post on Truth Social.
DeSantis’ appearance at an event in Staten Island bolstered rumors that he’s planning on running for president in 2024, but the governor has yet to make any official announcements.
Trump blasted Fox News for its apparently growing relationship with DeSantis, saying he calls it “the RINO network.”
“I call [Fox News] the RINO Network, and their DOWN BIG Ratings accurately reflect the name. If FAKE NEWS CNN was smart, which they’re not, they’d go Conservative & ‘All Trump, All the Time,’ like in 2016, and become a Ratings Juggernaut,” he wrote.
Trump has taken to referring to his potential 2024 rival as “DeSanctimonious.”
“Florida was doing GREAT long before Ron DeSanctus go there,” the former president wrote in a separate post on Tuesday. “People are fleeing from New York to Florida (and other places) because of high TAXES and out of control CRIME, not because of Governor (thank you President Trump!) DeSanctimonious. Rick Scott did great, and even Charlie Crist had very good numbers. SUNSHINE AND OCEAN, very alluring!!!”
Trump’s takedown of DeSantis sparked mixed reactions from conservatives. Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza said the two should form an alliance instead of a heated rivalry.
D’Souza tweeted: “I don’t think Trump needs to attack DeSantis. Nor should he. Makes DeSantis look like the presumptive nominee, when Trump clearly is. Trump and DeSantis ought to be making an alliance which is the best way to achieve both of their ambitions. Also best for the GOP and the country!”

D’Souza is 100% correct! Trump has to stop this crap! Trying to destroy a Republican who hasn’t even announced a run yet, while the democrats laugh at his childish comments & behavior. Trump you are losing followers every time you say outlandish things about any Republican who scares you. If we lose another election it is the end of this party. The woke idiots and socialists will win. GROW UP!!!!!!!

I agree, Trump should shut up and stop attacking Republicans. But lets face it, the other part of the suggestion was “Trump to form an alliance with DeSantis”. This will never happen because both have egos as large as the state they live in! LOL

Trump and his followers are the REAL “RINOS”, living a fantasy out there at The Right Pole and making things miserable for us REAL Republicans.
