January 1, Dem Running for Office Despite Charges
ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
2015: Barack Obama and Raúl Castro meet in Panama, the 1st meeting of US and Cuban heads of state since the Cuban Revolution.
Rhode Island Democratic congressional candidate Michael Neary says he’s still running for office despite the criminal charges against him in Ohio.
Police in Miami County, Ohio, arrested Neary last month and charged him with menacing by stalking and possession of marijuana.
Police allege Neary followed a couple he didn’t know for roughly 60 miles. The couple said they were “scared for their life.”
But Neary, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, said he’s still seeking to fill Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District seat.
“I’m still in the race,” he told a local outlet during a phone interview. “I’m not suspending my campaign, I’m not doing anything like that at the moment.”
“I’m keeping in touch with close friends at the moment and trying to work through some stuff,” he added. “I’m a candidate in the race, and a lot more is going to be forthcoming in the coming days and weeks.”

Well, its a free country. He is charged, not convicted. I agree with him that he has the right to run for office. If convicted then the people will have to get someone else. We live in a society where you lose your job and get your life ruined by charges that are yet to be proven. I say let the system work and if he is found guilty, the people can elect someone else, or their governor can appoint someone else. Lets stop convicting people in media and let the system work.

I believe he will make a Great Democrat Politician. The Party of Criminals will greet him with Open Arms.
The Biden Administration and past Democrat Administrations have done more damage to Our Country than any Enemy ever has. LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Obama and now Biden head the List.
Americans deserve Better and will get it one way or another.
