January 1, Boxer With Male Chromosomes Wins Olympics Sparking Gender Eligibility Controversy

Published

on

In a highly controversial event, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, accused of having male chromosomes, snatched victory in the 66-kilogram women’s division at the recent Paris Olympics.

Khelif defeated Angela Carini of Italy in a rather brief 46-second bout, before Carini called it off, leaving the ring in tears. A distressed Carini questioned the fairness of the fight to her coaches.

Carini later explained her decision to quit the match, saying, “I got into the ring to fight. I didn’t give up, but one punch hurt too much and so I said enough. I’m going out with my head held high.” Her coach, Emanuele Renzini, supported Carini’s decision, stating, “It would have been easier not to show up…”

Khelif’s win comes amidst a heated debate hinged on her failed gender eligibility test in 2023. The International Boxing Association disqualified Khelif during the 2023 World Championships for not meeting gender eligibility standards. IBA president Umar Kremlev explained the decision: “Based on DNA tests, we identified a number of athletes who tried to trick their colleagues into posing as women. According to the results of the tests, it was proved that they have XY chromosomes.”

Despite the controversy, the Algerian Olympic Committee (COA) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) backed Khelif. “Everyone competing in the women’s category is complying with the competition eligibility rules,” IOC spokesperson Mark Adams stated. The COA condemned what they viewed as unfair targeting of Khelif.

Rosario Coco, the president of Gaynet Communications in Italy, clarified that Khelif is an intersex person who has socialized as a woman, contradicting reports labeling her as a trans woman. This significant revelation further fuels the ongoing debate surrounding fair competition and the respect for individual identity in sports.

Olympics are stupid to begin with and now insane. Cancel them forever. They means nothing at the end of the day.

This was so unfair. There should be a NEW catagory of TRANSGENDER for these people that aren’t either all male or all female. Men can naturally hit harder and are stronger than women. QUIT puting them in the same catagory.

Don’t blame the IOC, blame those lying to get into a competitive division. If women would petition the IOC for a separate division rather than stepping into the ring with a man they might get a fair fight with equals.

Our sports have become so unfair athletes should refuse to participate and longer. Just because someone thinks they are a certain sex instead of what they were born as does not make it true nor fair only confused. DNA shows a person’s actual sex regardless of claims. Looks like there should be another classification in sports and people’s minds. Fact God only created Two sexes Male and Female any other is man classification and unnatural.

This was nothing more than the modern way to cheat.

This was nothing more than the modern way to cheat. The IOC authorities need to modernize testing using DNA. Keep the men out of women’s categories.

Either that or create an additional category for those who are confused.

Actually IOC knows since March of last year that this athlete has XY (male) chromosomes when the International Boxing Association texted both, the Algerian and Taiwan boxers. Both were found to have XY chromosomes and banned from competing in women category by IBA. But instead of removing the athletes, IOC removed IBA from their 2024 rules board and assigned some other people to make the eligibility rules. And that’s how XY is beating the crap out of XX (women). Disgraceful

Atheletes should be lumped into XX XY and other. Also, establish a maximum testosterone level for XX. But,you have to questions why are there more “misunderstood” sexs today than ever before. This person is certainly not from education, but manny of these LGBTQ… people it is an education thing. They are being groomed as children. Most children undergo confusion. Girls want to play with the boys, boys want to play with dolls. They grow out of it. I saw it as I was growing up. But, the schools were not pushing the children into opposite sex rolls. It’s so sad.

khelif is a coward. He knows he doesn’t stank a chance in men’s boxing so he wants to compete with those he knows will be weaker. He is shameful. It’s as simple as that.

Men masquerading as women in competition sports simply means that these miscreants just can’t cut it in the mens category. Leftist Liberals promote this unfair equality and this nonsense has graduated to the so-called Olympics.
I think it’s time we erect a barrier or anti-trust rule like Major League Baseball uses to hide behind to keep women out of the MLB.

Why is this world setting women back hundreds of years? Eventually no REAL woman is going to be involved in sports. It’ll be two men’s teams. The “mens” team and the team that isn’t good enough to be on the mens team. I honestly believe it’s time ALL women (I don’t care age, color, etc….) who have the body parts and capability to create a baby should boycott every sport. Women who don’t do sports should show up at these events and protest alongside the women who need to stand up to these judges. These women worked hard and this is the thanks they get.

Everone so far is spot on. This was an assault, not a fair fight. Hope “she” enjoys her meaningless win.

Gee, lets insist that everything be unisex and the winner take all, or that women and men each make up 50% of the team. Better yet, lets make up a competition of different events in the same sport based on physical characteristics, height in basketball for example. After all, this is only fair.

What’s going to happen when a biological male boxer kills a woman boxer? Has the world gone crazy?

Not a hard choice to make,if the individual has “normal” woman’s DNA then the person is woman, if not then that person is a man…NORMAL…
