January 1, Veteran’s Tragic Death Promotes Trans Rights at VA Hospital

An American service member did something really sad at a veterans’ hospital in New York. Around midday on January 27, people saw someone from the top of the VA Medical Center’s parking garage in Syracuse. The person had been in a hospital for mental health but was let out about a week earlier.
Witnesses said the individual had a flag that represents transgender people. A professor from Syracuse University noticed the flag waving gently around the body. She thought the situation needed attention. But some might wonder if our military should be for those who are ready both physically and mentally.
The VA hospital said a veteran passed away but didn’t give more details because they are still looking into it and want to respect the family’s privacy. They did say they are staying in touch with the veteran’s family to support them.
Reports say this veteran identified as transgender, but we don’t know their name or gender. This tragic event happened on the same day that President Trump put out a new rule. This rule says the military should focus on being strong and ready. It stops people who say they are a different gender from serving because it could cause problems within the military.
Supporters of the rule believe that it’s important for the military to be focused and united to protect our great country.
Wyatt Matters!
A tragic event took place at a veterans’ hospital in New York that reminds us of the struggles some service members face. Witnesses saw a person, who had recently been released from care, on top of a hospital parking garage with a transgender pride flag. This makes us think about the challenges and emotions that some veterans experience, especially those who identify as transgender. It’s important to remember the human side of those who serve and the personal battles they might fight even after leaving the battlefield.
There are discussions about whether the military should only include those who are physically and mentally ready. Some question whether allowing transgender individuals to serve aligns with the focus on military strength and readiness. However, it’s essential to recognize that all service members deserve support and understanding, regardless of their identity. They have dedicated themselves to protecting our country, and they, too, deserve protection and respect.
On the day of this tragic event, a new rule was announced emphasizing military unity by excluding people who identify as a different gender. While some agree with this rule for maintaining focus, others see it as a step backward in embracing diversity. It’s crucial to consider how policies affect those who have served and to provide the care and support they need. A tragedy at a respected hospital should remind us to focus on compassion and ensure all veterans feel valued and included.

Transgenders deserve the mental health counseling they need, and in my opinion has nothing to do with diversity, unless diversity is defined as transgenders and everyone else being the only other option. I look at diversity as what should happen naturally without laws demanding in effect quotas in hiring, which is insane. It’s affirmative action, which failed miserably in the 60’s and was not what Martin Luther King, Jr’s dream was about. His dream for all people to be judged by their character and experience, not the color of their skin!

Transgenderism is a proven mental disorder, obviously this person had other demons within. I’m sorry that they chose to end their life at a VA facility, however it could have happened anywhere. Had they chose a Piggly-Wiggly would that have been the stores fault? No the only person to blame is the individual that chose the cowards way out of life, life is hard…it’s harder when you are stupid. The sad part of the equation is the family members are the ones having to deal with the loss and pick up the remaining pieces of their lives. Suicide is a selfish thing for anyone to do, while it is a disorder and a final decision it’s also one that people around them knew about. A person that commits suicide doesn’t do it without warning that they are intent on harming themselves. Just another crazy in a long line of crazies.

I really don’t understand this. You have no idea how your body would react to such extremism of removing stuff, adding stuff, then take pills to deal with the transforming of your body you had since you were born! My God, and then the mental effects, GOD MADE YOU IN HIS BEING, HE CREATED YOU, YOU HAVE JUST SPIT ÓN HIM AND CHANGED IT, TURNED YOUR BACK ON HIM! THIS CAN EFFECT YOUR MIND THAT YOU START FEELING GUILTY AND YOU CANT COPE WITH AND NOTHING YOU CAN DO, EXCEPT COPE, DEAL, ACCEPT OR GO TO MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY. IF YOUR GAY OR LESBIAN, JUST BE THAT, BUT DONT MESS WITH YOUR BODY. YOU THINK YOU CAN HANDLE IT, BUT YOU CANT, YOUR BODY IS REJECTING WHAT YOU DID!!

When I enlisted in the Navy, I filled out a medical questionnaire, which was a checklist of diseases and conditions. One of the items was “homosexual tendencies“. Of course this was 1961, when they still admitted it was a mental illness. That’s before the homosexuals Got influence on the board of the American Psychiatric Association.

I enlisted in 55 do not recall that question at all. Perhaps my old mind has forgotten.
No place in our military has room for homosexuals. It is a military fighting force nothing else.

!) The mission of the military is to be prepared to kill people and break things. If you are not deployable because of elective medical and psychiatric treatments, you are a drag on the force. If you can’ tcan’t be put in the fight, you should stay out of, or leave, the military
2) Voluntary medical processes that render one non-combat capable are not line of duty, not the result of service, and should not divert funds and time from deserving members.
3) It is the right of every adult, sound of mind, to do what they want to their body. However, it is not my responsibility, or your right to demand, that I subsidize your choices or pay to mitigate the consequences of those choices. Defense dollars should be for defense not for social engineering.

VA hospitals should not be doing sex change surgery. That is an elective surgery and should be paid for person wanting to transition. I do agree the VA should provide counseling for these people. I don’t really want my tax dollars going for this type of medical procedures, in the USA or Guatemala or any other country, as its been exposed that USAID was paying for this. I read about so many people that have done this and then regretted it. I know of a Briana that became Bryan for a couple years and then went back to Briana.

I feel for these people. I’m grateful I know who I am. All I know is back in my day, if I said I thought I was of the opposite gender, they would have admitted me for observation. Why is it now we are supposed to look the other way and pretend? And worse yet, I’m supposed to help pay for their transition.

Sex-change surgery has never been successful. The patient might look like a person of the sex they want to be but their DNA can’t be altered. To my knowledge, DNA remains intact from birth to death. Everyone is binary and their sex is chosen for them at conception by the chromosomes of the sperm. No mulligans or do-overs.

The government has caused this. It is not the VA’s fault. What is at fault is the government allowing this to happen in the first place with all this transgender stuff. there has always been transgender people and always will be. If you notice all of this started when the government started pushing the agenda for for some of the minorities. You are now seeing the outcome of that.
Any moron could tell you that the military is not for the transgender people. Mentally they are not up to it.
I have gay friends and they do not like all this publicity at all. Again you never really heard from the gay community until the government decided to use them to spread their agenda. This has happened time and again.
The ones that flagrantly show off their gayness cause a lot of harm to us all. Most gays want to like their lives in peace and cause no problems. It is a very few that ruin it for them all.
Just look at all the other things they government has stuck their nose into that is not totally messed up. All about power.
