Wyatt’s Take

  • British politician backs socialist in New York race
  • Corbyn calls for foreign election influence after condemning it
  • Globalist agenda ignores American voices

A politician from Britain is trying to sway an election in New York City. Jeremy Corbyn, a longtime member of the UK parliament, joined phone banks to help socialist Zohran Mamdani win the mayor’s race.

Corbyn wrote online, “Let’s get Zohran over the finish line for a New York that’s affordable for all!”

This move drew sharp criticism for being foreign interference. Sean Davis called it, “literal foreign election interference on behalf of a Ugandan Muslim who wants to ‘globalize the intifada’ in America’s largest city.”

Corbyn seems to ignore his own rules. In the past, he blasted President Trump for supposedly interfering in British politics. In 2019, he posted, “President Trump’s attempt to decide who’ll be Britain’s next PM is an entirely unacceptable interference in our democracy. The next PM should be chosen not by the US president … but by the British people in a general election.”

Later, he accused Trump of helping another UK leader win: “Donald Trump is trying to interfere in UK election to get his friend Boris Johnson elected.”

Corbyn and Mamdani see national borders as old news—just lines to cross in pushing their global agenda. This globalist thinking is why Mamdani avoids condemning radicals who want to “globalize the intifada.” To them, every local race is part of a worldwide fight.

Their mindset erases the line between New York and London, Gaza and Manhattan. It’s no wonder Corbyn feels at home meddling in America’s elections.
