- He points to failed leadership and urges a return to law and order.
- The former president says Americans deserve safer cities.
Donald Trump delivered a forceful statement about the spike in crime sweeping the streets of Washington, D.C. He argued that failed leadership has let things fall apart in the nation’s capital and demanded action.
“Our capital should be the safest city in America, not one of the most dangerous,” he said.
Trump said everyday folks should not have to worry for their safety. He pressed leaders to support law enforcement and toughen up penalties for criminals who terrorize honest people.
“The people of D.C. and all Americans deserve law and order,” Trump insisted during his remarks.
He called on lawmakers to step up and take real action, not just talk about problems or blame others.
Trump closed by warning that if things don’t turn around, good people will continue to leave cities behind for safer places.
Wyatt Matters
American families are tired of fearing for their safety in places that should be secure. It’s time leaders listen to the voices from small towns and city streets alike who want security brought back for all.
