January 1, Subway Slasher Captured
The seemingly tranquil Sunday afternoon of a 28-year-old woman turned into a horrifying experience in a Manhattan subway, reflecting the growing concerns about public safety and an emerging culture of public indifference. The victim, whose name is being withheld, was randomly attacked, and was left pleading for assistance from fellow commuters who, alarmingly, chose to ignore her pleas.
At around 4:30 p.m. on a southbound No. 4 train, the woman fell victim to a harrowing unprovoked attack, one of three that occurred in less than 20 minutes that day. Despite the chaos, her quick thinking led her to record a video of her attacker, a piece of evidence that would later prove instrumental in the perpetrator’s capture.
In an eerie demonstration of urban apathy, the video reveals the attacker strolling off into the next car, leaving his victim visibly distressed. Her desperate cries for help and demands for someone to “Pull the emergency brake!” or “call 911!” were met with indifference.
Police on Tuesday arrested the alleged serial slasher, Kemal Rideout, 28. Rideout has been charged with three counts of felony assault on three different women that Sunday, including the subway victim. His list of priors includes attempted rape, assault, and forcible touching, painting a disturbing picture of a repeated offender who was still at large.
In a chilling recounting of the events, the victim said, “Some random guy walked past me and sliced me — I don’t know what he used — and nonchalantly walked away.” The attack left her injured severely, requiring a tourniquet to close the wound. She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital for treatment and was later released.
As the narrative of this ghastly event unfolds, it uncovers a society increasingly detached from its communal responsibilities. In the face of distress, the lack of immediate response from the public raises alarming questions about the state of urban community values.
In a country founded on the principles of liberty, responsibility, and fraternity, such instances are an indication of a need for societal introspection. While the importance of individual freedom is deeply woven into America’s social fabric, instances such as these underline the importance of the collective duty that accompanies individual freedom.
While the attack serves as a harsh reminder of the safety issues plaguing our urban spaces, it should also serve as a wake-up call for citizens to reclaim their roles as empathetic members of society. The incident underscores the need for the public to remain vigilant and responsive to ensure a safer and more compassionate community.
There is GRAPHIC VIDEO of this event that I will include as a link, but I felt it was far too graphic to post here.

When the authorities and prosecutors arrest and throw the book at people that try to stop the criminals, it is not the apathy of the public! It is the apathy of the courts that release the criminals to continue their raping, slashing and murdering! It falls totally on the citizens that continue to vote for democrats!

Guess what color the slasher was. Guess how many priors he had, and was still loose on the streets to cause more damage to innocent people. Guess what color the victims were. Then, when innocent people try to defend themselves they are the ones thrown in jail for 15 years. These weasel egg sucking prosecutors need to be in prison with BuBBa for about 5 years. When they get out, they will not be able to fart. Just go PHFFFF!!!!!!!!!!
