January 1, Sheriffs Prepare Jails as Immigration Policies Shift

Published

on

Some sheriffs are stepping up to help with big changes on immigration when President Trump might come back. Sheriff Richard Jones in Ohio has done this before, working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during past presidents like George Bush, Barack Obama, and Trump. But he stopped when President Biden was in charge. Now, he’s ready to go again.

Jones is getting jail cells ready right now. He started this right after the election because he knows his job is to protect his community. “We’re getting everything set to go,” he said.

Sheriff Chuck Jenkins from Maryland also wants to help President Trump and fix the problems caused by the Biden administration. He thinks too many people are coming here illegally, and it’s causing trouble. He says people with serious charges aren’t even being kept in jail.

Sheriff Jones has set aside a lot of beds in his jail for people who are here illegally. But he knows his first job is to keep local people safe, so he’s making sure local lawbreakers are taken care of first.

If the space he has isn’t enough, he’s ready to move people to other places to keep things under control.

Meanwhile, not being tough enough on illegal immigration might have cost a Democrat sheriff her job. In South Carolina, Sheriff Kristin Graziano lost her re-election. She was letting illegal immigrants run free, says a local congresswoman, which probably didn’t sit right with the voters. Now, Republican Carl Ritchie is in charge.

Some newspapers, like the Wall Street Journal, don’t like what these sheriffs are doing. They say Trump’s ideas about deportation aren’t clear and may not even work. They also say immigrants don’t commit as many crimes as Trump claims and that they’re taking jobs that many Americans don’t want.

But let’s remember, sheriffs are elected by the people, so they listen to their communities, not just politicians. This means they’re directly accountable to you, the voters.

Wyatt Matters!

Sheriffs play an important role in keeping communities safe, and some are preparing for changes in immigration policies if President Trump comes back. For example, Sheriff Richard Jones in Ohio is ready to work with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement again. He’s preparing his jail cells to make sure he can handle any changes, focusing first on keeping local residents safe. This is a big responsibility, and he’s making sure he has enough space to manage the situation properly.

Sheriff Chuck Jenkins from Maryland shares similar views. He believes that too many people are entering the country illegally, which he says is causing issues. Under the Biden administration, some people with serious charges weren’t being kept in jail. Both sheriffs want to address these concerns to ensure their communities are protected. They are also mindful of balancing this with the needs of their own local areas, making sure to prioritize the safety of their residents first.

Elections show that communities pay close attention to how their sheriffs handle these issues. In South Carolina, for example, a sheriff lost her job possibly because people felt she wasn’t addressing illegal immigration strongly enough. As voters, people trust sheriffs to represent their interests and find solutions to local problems. It’s important for law enforcement to listen to community concerns and act in ways that make people feel safe while also being fair to everyone.

If you run out of jail cells? Use those governors mansions in sanctuary cities like Gavin Newscums of Hockel of New York, Chicago, Martha’s Vineyard, Katie Hobbs home in Arizona! They all support illegal immigration so much, they can house and feed them too!

…and don’t forget to lock their security gates so the illegals don’t escape into the communities.

These local Sherriffs are elected to not only enforce the laws on the books, but to protect their constituents in their T respective communities. These papers and press people are not elected by any communities at large. Many of these papers and press organizations are just fronts for leftist ideologies.

I know. It’s rich that the Dems say they’ll be deported if they broke the law. Ummm, they already broke the law when they illegally entered the US without going through the proper channels.
