January 1, Seattle Pride Event: Children Encouraged to “Throw Bricks” at Images of GOP Figures

  • At a recent Seattle Pride parade, an organization set up a booth where children were encouraged to throw toy bricks at images of prominent Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
  • Additional videos from the event showed trans-identified teenagers distributing explicit political messages, attendees harassing a street preacher, and a school bus with a sign reading “Protect Trans Kids” driving through the parade.
  • Seattle Pride continues to uphold a policy that bans LGBTQ police officers from participating in uniform during the parade, a decision made following the Black Lives Matter protests in 2021.

In a recent unsettling display of political bias at Seattle’s Pride parade, children were egged on to hurl toy bricks at images of notable Republicans.

Among those pictured were Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and former President Donald Trump.

A video captured by Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial features a man heartily cheering on a child who repeatedly attempts to toss a plush toy brick into a display designed to resemble a wall.

The heart of the wall contained a gaping hole, labeled “Basket of Deplorables,” housing images of prominent Republican figures, including Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett, both appointed by GOP representatives.

The booth’s hosts, an organization known as Beyond These Walls, aims to “achieve justice and liberation” for incarcerated LGBTQ people.

Despite requests, neither Seattle Pride nor Beyond These Walls have responded to Fox News Digital’s requests for comments on this controversial display.

Footage from the event also shows trans-identified teenagers marching through the streets and distributing pamphlets.

Some of their messages were strikingly explicit, including a t-shirt that read, “I don’t want to look or be cis,” and a sign that said, “Queers Bash Back.”

In another clip, a group can be seen surrounding and harassing a street preacher who was reading aloud from the Bible.

As he sat on the ground, individuals screamed at him, waved flags over his face, and even used a megaphone blasted directly into his ear.

Additionally, a school bus, outfitted with Pride flags and a large sign reading “Protect Trans Kids,” slowly made its way through the parade.

Adding to the divisive atmosphere, Seattle Pride has maintained a policy barring LGBTQ police officers from participating in uniform during the parade.

This decision, first introduced in 2021 following the Black Lives Matter protests, reverses a tradition since 1994 that allowed members of the Seattle Police Department to march in the parade.

Seattle Pride’s interim Executive Director Noah Wagoner justified this policy by citing the LGBTQ community’s “long history of distrust of law enforcement.”

Bottom Line

These incidents call into question the nature of the event, which seemed more focused on sowing political division than on celebrating Pride or advocating for unity and mutual respect within our diverse society.

Not only is the LGBTQ Pride Group on the wrong track, but encouraging youngsters to throw bricks at conservative images is truly low rent. They’re a disgrace.

This gay man is sick to death of the garbage LGBTQ has turned into! I will no longer stand by them. There are many G&L that just asked for jobs to be protect our jobs, insurance for spouses, and to be able to be legally married to leave our spouses things in our will. However, the gutter trash has gone so far off the deep end, are so raunchy, depraved and evil I REFUSE to be a part of this, ESPECIALLY when ir comes to indoctrinating and forrupting the purity of children and exposing them to not decent role models like doctors, nurses, lawyers, professionals, or artists and all they do is promote the stereotype gutter trash that are uncouth, no morals, character, or even religious. Sorry, while people may not agree with the lifestyle there are those of us that also stand with conservatives and who have intelligence, act like responsible human beings and absolutely appalled as well by these actions, don’t go to pride anymore because of open depravity and WILL NOT stand by and let this country go to hell because of them!
Frankly, I wish someone would come in and put the whole group in mental institutions for the ways they act. if you think this is bad it gets worse with the Castro street and Folsom Street Fair! Corporations like Target, Anhueser, Disney, United Airlines are enabling this crap! Shame on all of them and LGBTQ! IF G&L need to start turning against the culture until they clean up their act than so be it! Enough of this BS! DO NOT TRUST, BACK, OR SUPPORT LGBTQ. I am so disgusted to even be lumped in with these freaks and those people know who they are!

Standard communist tactics. Get the kids doing something they really don’t understand when young. Then as they get older they will automatically accept indoctrination as it goes in parallel with what they have been taught before.
