January 1, Resurfaced Video Shows New Biden US Attorney Threaten Reporters in Tirade
A video resurfaced of Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins, President Biden’s new U.S. attorney appointee for Massachusetts, laying into reporters for trying to interview her outside of work.
In the video recorded in January of this year, Rollins accused reporters of endangering her children after a journalist requested an interview near her home.
“So as a Black woman, in this moment in this country, you’re going to put my f—king house on screen?” Rollins asks the reporter. Rollins’ house is not shown in the video.
“No, no, no, ma’am, we’re just here approaching you to ask you a question,” the reporter replies.
“Get away from my family. Speak to me at my job. If I get hurt or harmed because of this, you are on the record for that, or my kids are f—ing killed,” Rollins told the journalists in the parking lot near her house. “Who do you think you are? This is private property. Get out of here!”
Rollins threatened to call the police on the news team, saying, “And you know what I’ll do? I’ll call the police and make an allegation. And we’ll see how that works with you.”
Rollins went on to comment on the female reporter’s race.
“So the rantings of a White woman get you here and scare my children?” Rollins asked. “Get off our private property, and I swear to God, I’m dead serious. I will find your name.”
According to Boston 25 News, Rollins repeatedly claimed she “didn’t know who [their] news crew was and believed they were there to harm her. She reiterated that assertion in this tweet she posted moments after we made her spokesperson aware that our photographer had recorded the encounter.”
“Earlier today a masked white man jumped out of a truck parked in front of my home, walked quickly to me while inaudible speaking,” the tweet read. “He opened his trunk and grabbed something, took it out and aimed it at me. I was terrified and turned away. My children were there.”
When the Biden administration announced Rollins’ nomination for the Massachusetts U.S. attorney back in July, several members of Congress praised the nomination, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MS).
“Suffolk County [Rollins] is a national leader on transforming the criminal justice system and fighting the root causes of injustice,” Warren tweeted. “She is a great choice for US Attorney – [Sen. Ed Markey] and I were proud to recommend her to the Biden administration.”
“Congratulations to my sister in service, [Rollins], on her historic nomination,” Pressley tweeted. “She has fought to transform our legal system by prioritizing racial justice, decarceration & reimagining public safety in MA. [Biden] has made an excellent choice.”

Ya. Its funny how reporters harass conservatives/republicans and they just have to take the harassment.
