In one video, Huncho pretended to fire a gun and then slit his throat while rapping about the “homicide” of another individual.

Flashy handgun in hand and talking to the camera, Huncho then pointed the gun at his head, pulled the trigger, and the gun discharged.

Rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia, Huncho held onto life for a few hours, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Twin Porter, a close associate of the rapper, confirmed Huncho’s passing on Facebook.

Following the incident, the video went viral, sparking conversations about social media platforms’ responsibilities and their influence on young users.

A GoFundMe page set up by Monica Savage, believed to be Huncho’s cousin, states that the cause of his death is still being determined, as either suicide or accidental. The page has raised nearly $2,700 of its $15,000 goal.

Huncho’s TikTok page features numerous references to violence. In one video, he raps about drinking heavily and carrying a weapon.

Investigations into Huncho’s death remain ongoing.
