China’s state-affiliated media made a chilling statement ahead of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) trip to Taiwan.
“Let her go to Taiwan,” tweeted Hu Xijin, commentator for the Global Times. “But pray before departure: wish herself a safe journey and wish herself not be defined by history as a sinner who starts a spiral of escalation process expanding military frictions to a large-scale war in the Taiwan Strait.”
On Monday, the Taiwanese broadcaster TVBS reported that Pelosi was set to arrive on Tuesday night as part of her tour of Asia.
A CNN report also confirmed Pelosi’s plans. The outlet noted that the stop isn’t currently included in Pelosi’s public itinerary. A Taiwanese official said she is expected to stay in Taiwan overnight, though it is unclear when exactly Pelosi will land in Taipei.
The speaker’s trip comes even after President Joe Biden recently said that the US military didn’t think it was a good time for Pelosi to visit Taiwan.

But she HAS her “leader” that isn’t afraid to try to mandate citizens’ travel, actions, employment, and purchasing, by any means necessary; but won’t make any of those same demands of a hostile foreign government.

I dislike her attitude and behavior.. She has the idea that her crap does not stink and she is above the peasants that serve under her. . . Biden knew Pelosi was going to stop in Taiwan. She did it to deflect attention away from her husband’s DUI and drug car accident and his insider trading of stocks. Biden arranged it with China so they could save face by showing their military strength while she was there. Biden along with McConnell are owned by China. China is their retirement account.Judy
