January 1, Missed Opportunities in Syria: A Call for America To Step Up
Hey there, folks! Listen up, this is important. Over the weekend, our friend Mike Turner from Ohio, who’s in charge of the House Intelligence Committee, had some things to say about President Biden. Apparently, Biden let us down again because Syria’s falling apart, and it didn’t have to be this way!
Mike was talking on TV with Margaret Brennan, and he explained how Syria’s leader, Bashar al-Assad, ran away to Russia. Yep, he just up and left! But here’s what Mike thinks: this was a chance for America to work with our friends over in Turkey. We have troops in Syria, Turkey’s right next door, and Turkey’s on our team in NATO. Plus, we’re working with the Kurds, who are super important.
Mike said it was a perfect time for America to step up. We could have helped fix things between the Kurds, Turkey, and us. If we worked together, maybe we could have made things better in Syria.
But here’s some good news! Mike reminded us that President-elect Donald Trump is a big supporter of the Kurds. Trump wants to find a peaceful way to deal with all this stuff.
So, remember, folks, it’s about stepping up and working together with our allies. Let’s hope for a brighter future!
Wyatt Matters!
It’s really important for countries to work together to solve problems, especially when things get tough. Right now, Syria is having a lot of trouble, and people are worried about what will happen next. Something big happened when Syria’s leader, Bashar al-Assad, ran away to Russia. This could have been a chance for us to join forces with our friends in Turkey and the Kurds, to try and make things better for everyone there.
Working with allies like Turkey and the Kurds is important because they can help us find solutions and understand what’s going on. We’re already working with the Kurds, and Turkey is part of NATO with us, which means they’re on our team. If everyone stepped up and worked together, we might have been able to help Syria in a big way during this tough time.
But we shouldn’t give up hope! There’s still a chance to make things right. A lot of people believe that new leaders can find peaceful ways to make progress. President-elect Donald Trump supports the Kurds and might look for ways to solve the problems in Syria. It’s key to remember that when countries cooperate and talk to each other, we can aim for a happier and safer future for everyone.

Turkey is no friend. Erdogan is Muslim Brotherhood, the granddaddy of all terrorist groups. Al Qaeda and ISIS are all his allies, as is Hamas. Reigning IN Turkey would be far more productive and positive than supporting its current regime. It and Qatar are, together, the Sunni Iran.
