  • A woman was shot and killed after trying to hit ICE agents with her car.
  • Democrat leaders in Minnesota keep attacking law enforcement instead of supporting them.
  • Violence against ICE is rising as politicians stir up anger against federal agents.

Federal immigration officers shot a woman in Minneapolis after she allegedly tried to run them over. Police say officers told her to exit the vehicle before she sped toward them, almost hitting one.

The Department of Homeland Security called the attack “an act of domestic terrorism.”

One ICE officer fired defensive shots, saying he acted to protect lives.

All injured agents are expected to recover.

Mayor Jacob Frey called the federal claim of self-defense “garbage” and told ICE to leave the city, saying, “We do not want you here.” He says ICE isn’t keeping the city safe.

Frey and Governor Tim Walz have spent years bashing ICE. Last year, the police chief told people to call 911 if they saw “masked” ICE agents.

There are calls for legal action against leaders accused of stirring up violence and getting in the way of law enforcement.

Assaults on ICE agents rose over 1,000 percent last year. Federal officials blame politicians who insult ICE instead of backing them.

After the shooting, Governor Walz said there would be a “full, fair, and expeditious investigation.” He also put the Minnesota National Guard on alert.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America knows that real safety comes from supporting law enforcement, not attacking them. Politicians who stir division and target those who protect our communities only make things worse for everyone who wants law and order.
