January 1, Mark Cuban Endorses ‘Corporate Wokeism’ as ‘Good Business’
An event occurred that would irreversibly shake the foundations of American politics… READ MORE ABOUT THIS HISTORIC DAY HERE
Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, seems to have embraced “woke capitalism,” arguing it’s a savvy business strategy.
Speaking to political and business leaders on Michigan’s Mackinac Island, Cuban said, “Call me woke—you don’t need to call it DEI, you can call it whatever you want—I call it good business.”
However, Cuban’s perspective might be skewed due to his position in the sports industry, which operates more or less as a monopoly. In such a setting, even if consumers express outrage over certain issues, they eventually return, given the limited alternatives.
But industries like retail and beverages aren’t monopolistic; consumers have a plethora of choices.
Brands like Bud Light and Target have faced financial repercussions for promoting radical gender ideologies, suggesting that consumers do associate brands with their satisfaction. And if they don’t feel represented or agree with a brand’s stance, they may not return as Cuban suggests.
Critics also take issue with Cuban’s understanding of ‘woke’ as embracing diversity in the workforce and reflecting consumer values.
They point out that boycotting consumers aren’t necessarily opposing diverse hiring practices; they are opposing the companies’ promotional efforts around certain ideologies they believe should not be marketed to children or influence societal norms.
Cuban has a bit of history of not giving a cr*p about consumers.

I never liked Cuban even before all this “woke” silliness began. For a rich capitalist to say wokeism is smart for business, is like saying the military is better off with better undergarments for women in combat positions. Point is, women don’t belong in combat positions. A military that focuses more on gender equity will lose the war. A commercial venture that focuses on a tranny selling beer will have their warehouse filled with lite beer and no customers waiting to wet their whistle.

Yes & the only reason he is rich, is because, he got lucky. He may appear to be a real business tycoon, but, he really knows nothing about consumers. He supports questionable ideology, supporting BLM & other groups who control him. He could take a look at the most successful businessman in the world, Donald Trump, who makes all Americans the most important people on earth & never backs down to the liberal BS that makes Cuban scared to death if he doesn’t follow their dictatorship actions. UGH to Cuban.

Again, having a lot of money doesn’t make you wise or intelligent. Cuban and Gates are perfect examples. They are some of the worst of the so-called elites.
