Wyatt’s Take

  • The Kirk murder suspect sent texts saying he engraved political threats on bullets.
  • These bullets had anti-conservative slogans, raising questions about warning signs.
  • Authorities say the suspect confessed motives tied to political hatred.

Utah prosecutors revealed that Tyler Robinson, accused of killing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, texted about engraving bullets with messages before the attack. The bullets, which were found after the shooting, carried phrases targeting conservatives.

Robinson, 22, told a transgender partner about his actions, and authorities released text messages showing threats and political messages like “hey fascist! CATCH!” on the casings. He admitted to being the shooter in these texts.

“Remember how I was engraving bullets?”

His conversations included slang and jokes about seeing his writings in the news, with authorities noting political motivation in the attack. Prosecutors say Robinson targeted Kirk for his “political expression.”

“The fuckin messages are mostly a big meme, if I see ‘notices bulge uwu’ on [Fox News] I might have a stroke,”

Officials say the suspect’s partner cooperated and was shocked by the confession. Robinson allegedly told his partner not to speak to the media and to remain silent if asked by police.

“What?????????????? You’re joking, right????”

FBI reports also indicate Robinson discussed the shooting in online chat rooms and gave off multiple warning signs before the attack, according to testimony before Congress.

“To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age,”

Robinson turned himself in after a two-day search and faces severe charges, including possible death penalty if convicted.

“I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”
