January 1, INFILTRATION: Chinese Communist Operatives Targeting American Colleges

Wyatt’s Take

  • Chinese Communist Party intelligence officials are now literally overlooking the White House after purchasing strategic real estate
  • House investigators exposed massive CCP infiltration programs embedded across American universities
  • New evidence shows Beijing-funded programs are placing Communist Party operatives directly on U.S. campuses

This month alone has exposed three separate alarm bells about Chinese Communist Party infiltration into the heart of America. And if you’re not paying attention, you should be.

First came the shocking revelation that a CCP intelligence official now owns a building with a direct view of the White House. Let that sink in for a moment.

Then the House Select Committee on China dropped another bombshell investigative report documenting how deeply the Communist regime has burrowed into American colleges and universities. These aren’t just exchange programs or innocent cultural initiatives.

Now a third report from Defending Education has blown the lid off a CCP-funded program that’s actively placing Chinese operatives on American campuses. These aren’t students coming here to learn about freedom and democracy.

They’re envoys of an authoritarian regime that views the United States as its primary global adversary.

The pattern is unmistakable. Beijing isn’t just spying on America from across the Pacific.

They’re setting up shop in our own backyard, targeting the institutions where we educate the next generation of American leaders. Our universities have become ground zero for Chinese influence operations.

The Communist Party understands something our academic elites seem to have forgotten: whoever controls education controls the future. While university administrators chase diversity statements and pronouns, China is playing a much longer, more strategic game.

They’re buying influence, stealing research, intimidating Chinese students on American soil, and spreading propaganda under the cover of academic exchange. And they’re doing it with money that our cash-strapped universities are all too eager to accept.

The question isn’t whether China is infiltrating American higher education anymore. Multiple congressional investigations have confirmed that beyond any doubt.

The question is what we’re going to do about it.

Why It Matters

For too long, Washington has treated China like just another trading partner while Beijing has treated us like the enemy. Now the Communist Party is operating in plain sight, from buildings overlooking our seat of government to classrooms on our college campuses. Our children’s education and our national security are on the line. It’s past time to shut these operations down and start treating the CCP threat with the seriousness it deserves.
