Tom Homan, who worked for President Trump, answered AOC after she told him to come after her for helping people break the law. AOC, who is a Congresswoman from New York, said she used her right to free speech to help illegal immigrants know how to avoid getting caught.
On Fox News, Homan said he was happy to be on her mind all the time. He mentioned that what AOC is doing is teaching some bad folks how to break the law, but now she’s just showing them how to get into trouble.
He explained that it’s against the law to not follow orders from ICE, which is the group that deals with people who are in the country illegally. He said people can’t just ignore orders from a judge or stop ICE from doing their job.
Homan suggested that AOC should read a specific law because things are about to get serious.
Back in March, AOC told NPR she was teaching people about their rights, like what police are allowed to do when they search people. But she admitted that she was also giving advice to folks who aren’t supposed to be here.
AOC has had arguments with Homan before, claiming sneaking across the border isn’t against the law. But Homan is making it clear: following the law is important, and he’s ready to take on anyone who disagrees with that. Thank goodness we have someone like him standing up for the rules.
Wyatt Matters!
It is important to follow the laws in our country because they keep us safe and organized. When people like AOC advise others on how to avoid law enforcement, it can lead to confusion and chaos. Rules are not meant to be broken, and teaching people how to break them can cause a lot of problems. Everyone should understand that not following the law, especially when it involves something serious like immigration, can have consequences.
It’s good to know about rights and laws, which AOC says she’s teaching to people. However, helping those who are here illegally know how to dodge the law isn’t the best approach. Instead, it would be more helpful to guide them through legal processes. This way, everyone can have a better chance to live safely and fairly under the law.
Standing up for the rules is crucial, and that’s why it’s important for everyone, including lawmakers and leaders, to set good examples. By respecting the laws, we make sure that everyone can live peacefully and work together towards a better community. Understanding and obeying laws should be a priority for everyone.
