After a deadly shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas left one dead and two in critical condition, Attorney General Pam Bondi took quick action. She ordered Justice Department agents to guard ICE buildings across the country.

Bondi said agents will be ready to step in any time ICE facilities are threatened. She also told Joint Terrorism Task Forces to go after anyone who tries to harm federal officers or block law enforcement.

“This is about safeguarding federal agents, protecting federal property, and arresting people who commit federal crimes right away,” Bondi said in a social media post.

Prosecutors are under orders to bring the toughest charges possible—including conspiracy, assault, and even terrorism—against anyone who attacks or interferes with federal agents.

Bondi’s message to lawbreakers is clear: violence against those enforcing America’s laws won’t be tolerated.
