January 1, Feds Dig Into BLM Money Use After Scandals

Wyatt’s Take

  • Feds have launched a fresh probe into BLM’s spending and alleged fraud.
  • Millions meant for social justice were spent on mansions and big salaries.
  • Working families wonder if donor cash was funneled to insiders, not communities.

The government is investigating how Black Lives Matter spent donations, with reports of millions allegedly used for consultants, travel, and personal deals. This comes after earlier tipoffs that BLM leaders steered money toward themselves, not grassroots efforts, while regular folks struggled to get support from the organization.

Sources say key BLM officials are under new scrutiny, with subpoenas issued and past denials of wrongdoing now questioned by many. BLM still says the group is not a main target of the current investigation and claims to be transparent with donations.

Years ago, whistleblowers inside BLM and local chapters rang the alarm about missing funds and leadership enriching themselves instead of the communities they claimed to help. One BLM leader in Atlanta was even convicted for using donations for personal luxuries, adding to doubts about how money was managed across the national organization.

After more financial scandals, BLM’s co-founder stepped down, and lawsuits targeted big real estate purchases, including a secret mansion buy worth millions. Even when legal cases failed to stick, questions grew about honesty and priorities at the top of the group.

The public is left asking if these social justice dollars ever reached the neighborhoods that needed them most. Polls show most Americans now doubt recent race-focused efforts did any good for black communities.

This is a real kitchen-table issue for folks wanting to know if their donations are truly making a difference or just padding someone else’s pockets.

Wyatt Matters

Middle Americans value hard work and expect transparency from charities. When organizations take in big donations, everyday people want to see that money making real changes, not disappearing into bloated overhead or shady deals.

Misuse from donations within BLM is no different than what our tax dollars are used for? For instance, just this morning, saturday November 1st, 2025, I heard where President Trump is sending aid to Jamacia for damages caused by hurricane Millissa? I’m a compassionate person towards devestation to other areas of The World, caused by natural events that leave people suffering? However, our GOVERNMENT remains closed and people may not have the savings to keep their homes, feed their children. Children had NO HOLLOWEEN, the threat of having a Thansgiving, a Christmas is nearing, yet many elected officials could give a shit less! Re-open government, pay these people in distress and prove to The World that OUR GOVERNMENT CARES ABOUT IT’S PEOPLE!!! Before taking care of others.
By the way, OUR NATIONS CAPITAL, WASHINGTON, D.C. should be our SAFEST area in The United States Of America! At 10 miles square the crime is attrocious! Our Nations Capital should be leading The Country by example. GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASSES and prove to Americans just how fortunate WE THE PEOPLE are by serving and protecting The People, The DREAM, THE AMERICAN DREAM by being an American and how truely GREAT AMERICA CAN BE!!!!!!!!!
