Wyatt’s Take

  • A Hamas operative got into America while Biden officials missed the warning signs.
  • Senator Tom Cotton is demanding a full audit of every visa from risky countries.
  • He says the White House is letting dangerous people slip through and Americans need answers.

Working folks across the country deserve to know who’s coming across our borders. Senator Tom Cotton’s raising a red flag after federal agents arrested Mahmoud Amin Ya’Qub al-Muhtadi, accused of joining the Hamas attack on Israel and coming in on a fake visa.

Cotton told Homeland Security the vetting failed, since “the vetting process for al-Muhtadi’s application overlooked easily accessible evidence of his terrorist ties.” He’s calling for an urgent review of all visas since 2021 from places like Gaza and Egypt, and wants real background checks that look at social media and terrorist watchlists.

Prosecutors say al-Muhtadi’s phone tracked him to the massacre site in Israel. FBI reports show messages like:

“Bring the rifles,”

“get ready,”

and “If you have a full magazine, bring it to me.”

He didn’t sneak in; he was approved in Cairo, posted photos in military gear with weapons, then lived in Louisiana, working in a diner until the feds tracked him down. Cotton says there could be others who entered the same way.

The senator is also pushing for instant terrorist screenings and tougher checks on all people coming in from terror hot spots. He wants to stop dangerous radicals from slipping past customs.

Tom Cotton’s been pushing for years to fix these risks. He’s led bills to get rid of visas for violent foreign criminals and to use historical language that backs America’s allies. He says the threat is real, not because bad guys sneak in, but because leaders are letting them through the front door while looking the other way.
