January 1, Controversial Comment Pushes Legal Action for “Russian Disinformation” Critics

Published

It appears Hillary Clinton is once again making headlines with her latest controversial comments. Monday night on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Clinton astonishingly suggested that Americans spreading so-called “Russian disinformation” should face civil and criminal charges.

Clinton specifically accused certain congressional Republicans of “parroting Russian talking points,” though she failed to provide concrete evidence or name names. Essentially, if you disagree with her and happen to voice it, you could be facing legal repercussions.

“I think it’s important to indict the Russians, just like [Robert] Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting [Republican nominee Donald] Trump back in 2016,” Clinton declared. “But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda and whether they should be civilly, or even in some cases, criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence.”

If you’re starting to get Orwellian vibes, you’re not alone. Clinton’s claims suggest a severe crackdown on free speech under the guise of preventing “foreign influence.”

Clinton continued, pushing for more government intervention to curb alleged foreign influence on American voters. “So I think we need to uncover all the connections and make it very clear that you can vote however you want, but we are not going to let adversaries, Russia, China, Iran or anybody else basically try to influence Americans as to how we should vote in picking our leaders,” she added.

Just when you thought the Russia narrative was on its last legs, here comes another wave. The Department of Justice recently claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian companies to target Americans with propaganda aimed at interfering in the 2024 election. The DOJ has already charged two Russian RT employees with crimes including money laundering and violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

It’s no secret Clinton has a knack for bringing up Russia whenever she gets the chance. After all, it’s a convenient scapegoat for her 2016 election loss. In past interviews, she’s repeatedly suggested Trump didn’t win the election legitimately due to so-called “Russian interference.”

This latest round of rhetoric gives a clear signal: if you question the status quo, you might find yourself in the crosshairs of powerful political figures who seem eager to stifle dissent.

Trump should have prosecuted her the first time around for espionage and destroying files. I think the entire nation is sick of the Clintons and their lies.

So the origin of the Russian disinformation against Trump wants to prosecute and sue anyone who is providing Russian disinformation. When she submits herself to being the first person charged for Russian disinformation, I’ll take her seriously.

I remember owning shares in Molycorp when Hilary, Secretary of State, I think, made it legal for foreign companies to buy American companies and there was also a uranium company deal with someone in Canada which later sold to Russia, where Bill Clinton was giving speech of about 30-60 minutes for $500,000 in Russia I think it was about uranium. Although it has been about 2 decades, I lost a load of money on Molycorp which was bought by the Chinese. Now Biden says we will get a profit by buying molybdenum from China!!!! What is with these America haters?

How much did she and her friends PAY Russia do it this time? Bet she has 50 more “intelligence” officials to sign a letter verifying her claimes?

Hillary’s campaign literally paid for false information about Trump in relation to Russia and she was responsible for selling American uranium reserves to Russia. You can’t get anymore hypocritical than her bringing up Russia “disinformation” since she used them for her own propaganda. Being able to spout evil with a straight face is becoming a Democrat hallmark.

Perhaps a position should be made for this deranged has been on ‘the view’. The only people who believe the things she says are the 10% of the Democrats who are uninformed and gullible. The Clinton’s need to retire to some other country and stay out of politics. They hurt their party more then help, and have lied, cheated, deceived and committed so many crimes themselves that what they say should be irrelevant.
