January 1, Comey Criticizes GOP Over White Supremacy Ties

Over the weekend, former FBI Director James Comey went on MSNBC and said something really shocking. He talked to Jen Psaki, who used to work for Biden, and said that the Republican Party is “white supremacist adjacent.” Can you believe that?

Psaki asked Comey if we have enough laws in place to deal with things happening now and whether the law enforcement system can handle it. Comey admitted we might need a few changes but said the tools are mostly there, but he thinks some people in the FBI might not want to do their jobs because they don’t want to be seen siding with Republicans, who he unfairly labeled as “white supremacist adjacent.” That’s a pretty outrageous thing to say!

In the past, Comey has also pointed fingers at President Trump and accused him of using racism to help himself politically. Back in April 2019, Comey wrote an article claiming Trump was stirring up trouble with racism. He even told Trump to stop dealing with issues of race in a way he didn’t like.

Comey didn’t stop there. He also criticized Republicans by claiming they seem to ignore principles. But he didn’t mention any of the questionable actions we’ve seen from the Biden administration. He warned that if a Democratic president decides to investigate Republicans, they might regret not having the right people in place. It’s as if he’s saying Republicans don’t care about principles. That’s a pretty bold claim!

Comey’s words seem more about causing division than seeking unity. It makes you wonder—why is he so focused on attacking Republicans and President Trump? Instead of blaming one side like this, we should be working together to make our country stronger.
