Wyatt’s Take

  • James Comer says ignoring subpoenas has consequences for the Clintons.
  • He wants equal treatment for both parties in Congress.
  • Criminal referrals are promised if silence continues.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer says Bill and Hillary Clinton must respond to subpoenas about their ties to Jeffrey Epstein. If they continue to stay silent, Comer warns they could face criminal referrals just like Steve Bannon did.

“We expect to hear from Bill and Hillary Clinton,” Comer stated. He pointed out that Donald Trump has faced Epstein questions for years and answered them publicly, while the Clintons have stayed silent.

Comer explained, “Other Democrats have sent letters saying they knew nothing about Epstein, which would hold in court if something ever comes out that they did know something, then they’ve committed perjury there.” He pressed that the Clintons have never responded and have not faced tough questioning from reporters or Congress.

He warned, “So we expect the Clintons to come in, or I expect the Clintons to be met with the same fate that Bannon and [Peter] Navarro were met with when the Democrats were in control.” Bannon and Navarro each faced prosecution for dodging subpoenas.

Comer also said Democrats are too focused on targeting Trump rather than helping to get answers from the Clintons. He added, “The Democrats have Trump Derangement Syndrome. They’re just hoping and praying that there’s something in these documents, somewhere they don’t know where, but somewhere that would implicate Trump.” Neither Trump nor the Clintons have officially been accused of wrongdoing.

Congress recently passed a bill that pushes for all unclassified records about Epstein to be released for public view.
