Wyatt’s Take

  • New House records show Noam Chomsky praised Epstein’s “insights.”
  • Chomsky’s own words suggest years of contact with Epstein.
  • Files confirm ties continued after Epstein’s 2008 conviction.

Government documents made public by the House Oversight Committee show Noam Chomsky wrote about Jeffrey Epstein’s “penetrating insights.” Chomsky called Epstein a “regular source” of stimulation and praised his curiosity and knowledge.

“I met Jeffrey Epstein half a dozen years ago,” Chomsky allegedly wrote. “We have been in regular contact since, with many long and often in-depth discussions about a very wide range of topics.”

Chomsky went on, “The impact of Jeffrey’s limitless curiosity, extensive knowledge, penetrating insights, and thoughtful appraisals is only heightened by his easy informality, without a trace of pretentiousness. He quickly became a highly valued friend and regular source of intellectual exchange and stimulation.”

House records show Chomsky stayed in contact with Epstein after Epstein pled guilty to soliciting a minor in 2008. Additional files reveal Epstein arranged meetings with Chomsky in 2015 and 2016 while Chomsky was still at MIT.

When reporters asked about his ties to Epstein, Chomsky replied, “First response is that it is none of your business. Or anyone’s. Second is that I knew him and we met occasionally.”

Chomsky’s career spans decades and he is considered a founder of modern linguistics. He joined the University of Arizona in 2017, after a long tenure at MIT. Recent reports said Chomsky had a stroke in 2023 and has been recovering in Brazil as of June 2024.

Several prominent figures on the left have praised Chomsky’s intellect, despite his controversial associations. He has been known for strong criticism of U.S. foreign policy and self-identifies with libertarian socialism.

Let’s keep watch for where the truth leads, especially on powerful ties behind closed doors. For more details, check the full story at the source below.
