January 1, Chicago Police Department Responds to Violent Teen Rioting

Published

on

Well, well, well. It looks like the city of Chicago is at it again. This time, it’s the youth who are taking to the streets in violent rioting. And what does the mayor-elect have to say about it? That we shouldn’t demonize these kids who have ‘otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities’? Give me a break.

Now, let me be clear. I do not condone violence in any form. It is unacceptable and has no place in our society. But to make excuses for these young people, to say that they are somehow justified in their destructive behavior because they come from disadvantaged backgrounds, is simply ridiculous.

What these young people need is not a free pass for their bad behavior, but rather an opportunity to succeed. They need access to education, to job opportunities, and to safe and nurturing communities. And it is the responsibility of our elected officials to create an environment that fosters growth and opportunity for all.

But let’s not forget that these young people are not the only ones responsible for the violence we saw in Chicago this weekend. The parents and guardians who allowed their children to participate in these riots must also be held accountable. It is their responsibility to know where their children are and to ensure that they are not engaging in criminal behavior.

And let’s not forget about the role of the police in all of this. The Chicago Police Department was called out in force to deal with the violence, but where were they before it escalated to this level? The police need to do a better job of monitoring and preventing these kinds of events from happening in the first place.

In the end, it all comes down to personal responsibility. We need to hold ourselves accountable for our actions, whether we are young people engaging in violent behavior or adults who are supposed to be providing guidance and support. And we need to work together as a community to create a society that values hard work, respect, and individual freedom.

Oh well it is Chicago what do you expect. The police are under funded, are given no respect, criminals are given free passes, and democratic run cities could care less what happens in their territories as long as they can get a share of soros money. There is no justice or responsibility in those towns.

Democrats are determined to hold their convention in Chicago so the MSM can help push the narrative that there is no crime problem. If rioters and criminals burn down half the convention center, the MSM will gush that it is only a minor thing. After all, part of it is still standing that makes it “mostly peaceful.”
