There’s some exciting news at the border, folks, and it’s all thanks to President-elect Donald Trump! After nearly four years of wide-open borders under the last administration, our border agents are finally feeling hopeful again.

President Trump, who made sure to focus on border security during his campaign, is bringing in the big guns. He’s got Tom Homan, a strong leader and former acting director of ICE, ready to be the new “border czar.” Homan’s been on TV talking about fixing the border problems the Biden administration caused, and he’s ready to get to work.

Homan says he’s all for Trump’s plan to send back folks who crossed into the country illegally and make sure the people who threaten our safety aren’t here.

The agents and officials at the border are thrilled. It’s like night and day compared to before! With Trump’s guidance, they believe they’ll finally get to do the job right. They’re so happy about Tom Homan returning, they can’t stop smiling.

One ICE officer said it’s like the sun is shining after a long storm. Another agent is “ecstatic” to get back to work, feeling more excited than ever. There’s talk of agents delaying their retirement just to see this new change happen.

Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez shared how agents are saying they want to stick around now that Trump’s back. They know this administration will support them, just like before.

Some agents have said they can’t wait for Homan to officially start, so they can really enforce the laws and keep our country safe. They’re also looking forward to not having to use fancy language like “noncitizen” and just call it like it is.

With Trump and Homan leading the way, our border agents are ready to protect America once again.
