January 1, Billie Eilish’s Woke Outburst Ignites Fresh Debate on Historic Land Claims Worldwide

Wyatt’s Take

  • Billie Eilish preaches no one illegal on stolen land from Grammy stage.
  • All lands worldwide won by conquest, purchase, or war over history.
  • Israel earned its ground through ancient ties and Arab defeats.

Land acknowledgments call America stolen from natives at every big event now. Folks get fired for laughing at that nonsense, but riots get a pass.

Billie Eilish slammed Trump on immigration:

“no one is illegal on stolen land.”

She forgets her fancy gated home stays off-limits.

Europe flipped hands from Romans to Vikings, Mongols, Ottomans, and world wars. Same story in Americas with Cortes toppling Aztecs using guns and germs.

US grabbed territory fair from France, Mexico, Britain, tribes. Middle East saw Jews fight Amorites, Canaanites way back, then Assyrians, Babylon, Greeks, Romans.

Arabs, Crusaders, Ottomans ruled till British mandates post-WWI. Jews bought land legally before statehood; no Palestinian country ever existed there.

Arabs attacked new Israel in 1948, lost, then again in 1967, 1973. Victors keep spoils by old rules; no right of return for losers ever.

Time to push back on elite guilt trips tearing down our history.

Truth brings hope and Liberty, fact. Half truths/lies false imaginations with no insight no real knowledge brings forth imprisonment of the mind also fact. Someone much greater than I, brought iight to these two avenues of thinking, one brings forth life and the other brings forth death, mentally and physically. Choose.

Eilish is just Another Woke, Hypocrite, Insignificant Leftist who wants to be relevant. She is so full of __it and herself. She repeats nonsense that she has heard others say without even thinking about what she is saying. These people need to just be quiet.

So I actually clicked through and read this entire article. Billie Eillish has a warped understanding of the situation, but so does the author of this article!
Of course, Eillish had only a few moments to speak and completely intended to be provocative.
Wyatt Porter obviously had more time to write out a convincing rebuttal. He made many great points of contention to Eillish’s statement. If only his history review was not SO whitewashed and tone-deaf to the concerns of the Millennial and Gen Z members of our society!
I’m Gen X, a Christian American and a Zionist. HOWEVER, it is absolutely ineffective to “preach to the choir” to older generations while dismissing younger generations by cherry-picking historical events that support an interpretation of history that doesn’t acknowledge the fact that entire cultures, people groups, and even women have been systematically oppressed, discriminated against, and outright abused to the wolf theft and death. Give the the youth some respect for caring about their fellow humans and social justice issues. Articles like this one just widen the gap between political views rather than inform people about history.

We all need to be more understanding of each other. Points can always be made from all sides. But history CAN’T be changed. The future depends upon not repeating the same mistakes, if that’s possible.

The entire conversation is rediculous. None of this silly stuff was ever debated like this. Indigenous peoples are getting back their ancestral lands, at least in this state they are. Tribal lands are being marked with signs and boundaries. The state and the tribes all work together to lift up and help each other. The tribes have a lot of casinos on their lands and monies from those enterprises is shared with the state. The tribes build roads, businesses, schools, and many other great things to benefit all of us. The tribes in the past, did not “own land” persay, they were mostly nomadic, to say that the settlers “stole land” is way over the top. I will repeat some of what is in the article, and that throughout history, countries have been conquored and the strongest won out. I watched a video on you tube where a podcaster dressed in Indian garb, head dress and all, and went to Eilish’s mansion and demanded to give that land back to him. You have to see the video. It proved how stupid people can be. She called the police on him. Funny how that works. ICE is deporting illegal aliens and she has a problem with that , but she called the police to remove him from “her” property!! Can’t make this up!!

Billie Eilish is owning property on “stolen land”. She absolutely need to return it to the rightful owners IF she really feels that way. The tribe is ready and willing to take the land her house sits next to back.

She’s just looking for more attention just like many spoiled children.

There’s that label again. The scarlet W. It is use by sites like this to discredit anything that they don’t like. Call the statement or person Woke and be done with it. No need to consider what they say, to look at your own opinions, study the facts, realize that most contentious questions are rarely black and white.
I saw a series of comments on a video gaming site that said that Sony games have become too Woke/DEI and they’re no fun anymore. Best I can tell that means too many female characters and not enough blood, guts, and gore from muscular white characters.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but it would be nice if you could back it up with facts rather than hiding behind what you think is a denigrating label. Can’t support your opinion. You have no real standing in the conversation.
    You stay well now
