January 1, Biden’s Speech Interrupted By Irate Protesters

Published

on

Protesters calling for a ceasefire in Gaza briefly interrupted President Biden on Monday during a speech in Charleston, South Carolina.

About half a dozen protesters were quickly escorted out of the event as the crowd chanted “four more years,” in what could be seen as a microcosm of the deep divide among Democrats over response to the Israel-Hamas war.

“I understand their passion and I’ve been quietly working with the Israeli government to get them to reduce and significantly get out of Gaza,” Biden said in response.

The protest came during the second major campaign speech for Biden in recent days as he seeks to cast former President Trump, the frontrunner to become the GOP nominee, as an existential threat to democracy.

Biden spoke Monday at the Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, S.C., where a white supremacist murdered nine members of the Black congregation in a 2015 mass shooting.

Biden called white supremacy a “poison” during his remarks and said that “throughout our history, it has ripped this nation apart.” “This has no place in America, not today, tomorrow, or ever,” he said.

Biden again slammed Trump over his false claims about the 2020 presidential election and called the former president a “loser” for not accepting the results.

“Losers are taught to concede when they lose, and he’s a loser,” Biden said.

Biden, who has struggled to build support from young, Black and Hispanic voters, sought to connect with dissatisfied Black supporters during his Monday swing through the state.

“The President will take the campaign’s message to South Carolina where he will deliver remarks at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, a venue that embodies the stakes for the nation at this moment,” the Biden campaign said in a statement on Sunday.

Why It Matters (op-ed)

In a desperate attempt to pander to the far-left, Biden was interrupted during a speech in South Carolina by protesters calling for a Gaza ceasefire. This disruption highlights the deep divide within the Democratic Party over their stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Biden’s weak response, claiming he’s “quietly working” with Israel, only further exposes his inability to take a strong stand on crucial issues. Meanwhile, he continues to attack Trump, calling him a “loser” and focusing on false claims about the 2020 election.

As Biden struggles to gain support from young, Black, and Hispanic voters, this incident serves as a reminder of the fractured state of the Democratic Party and the lack of true leadership from the current administration.

I hope the congregation at this AME church aren’t fooled by this “white supremacy” president. He’s starting to prey on the black congregation for the black vote hoping that they will fall for his lies yet again. I pray that these people will get into the Word and realize that they invited Satan into their pulpit. Satan is a liar and a thief and this time he showed up as the president in cognitive decline. Wake up brothers and sisters!!!!

The voters are just as stupid as Biden. The people there saying four more years are really not Americans. They are uneducated unclass losers who’s teachers taught them to depend on government to support them and wipe their lazy butts. Adults in that crowd are disgusting! Biden is not going to give you anything! Your not a illegal and your life doesn’t count!

If I’m correct, Hilary didn’t concede and claimed he “STOLE” the election. Funny how they can claim the same thing that Trump is being raked over the coals for.

Treason is a little strong but parasites on the body politic would be appropriate for for the worse presidents since James Buchanan. Slavery and Segregation, Sedition, and Secularism is the history of their party.

I agree with Charlie. Joe Biden is one of the most disgusting human beings on the face of the earth. He definitely is not a real American. He hates us and our Constitution. Period.

I believe, at one point, Trump did say Biden won the election. If Trump wins the next election, he will turn our government upside down. If possible, Trump would do away with democracy and make himself King for life.
