January 1, Biden’s Approval Rating Falls 4 Weeks in a Row

A new poll shows President Joe Biden‘s approval rating fell for the fourth consecutive week.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll, completed on Wednesday, found that just 36% of Americans said they approve of Biden’s job as president.

Additionally, only 18% of respondents said they believe the country is headed in the right direction under the Biden administration.

While 73% of Democrats said they approve of Biden’s job as president, that figure is down 12 percentage points from August.

Unsurprisingly, Biden is far less popular with Republicans, with just 7% of respondents saying they currently approve of his job as president.

The poll was conducted using responses from 1,002 participants. Its margin of error is 4 percentage points.
