January 1, Biden Reduces Sentences of 2,500 Drug Convicts
President Joe Biden just let 2,500 people out of prison early. He says these folks got really long sentences for drug crimes, and he thinks that’s not fair. He’s letting them out because he thinks they got punished too harshly back then compared to what would happen today.
Biden is talking about how this is fixing old mistakes. He mentions laws that he says were unfair, particularly about crack and powder cocaine. He also talks about sentencing laws that Trump worked on when he was president.
Biden is proud of letting lots of people out of prison. In fact, he’s done more of this than any other president. Before this, he pardoned or reduced the sentences of over 1,500 people for non-violent crimes and even a big group who got in trouble for just having marijuana.
But not everyone is happy with what Biden is doing. Folks remember a time when he changed the sentences of 37 people on death row right before Christmas. These people had done serious wrong, like Thomas Sanders, who did terrible things to a little girl and her mom.
Biden also faced backlash when he pardoned his son, Hunter, even after saying he wouldn’t. This upset a lot of people who expected him to keep his word.
Wyatt Matters!
President Biden has helped many people by letting some out of prison who got very long sentences for drug crimes. He thinks it’s important to fix old mistakes because people in the past got punished much more severely than they would today. This is especially true for drug laws related to crack and powder cocaine. He believes these people should have another chance because the laws back then were not fair.
Biden is proud of how many folks he has helped. Before this, he pardoned or reduced the sentences of over 1,500 people for non-violent crimes, including those who were in trouble for having marijuana. He has done this more than any other president so far. This shows he really wants to make a difference and help people get a second chance in life.
However, not everyone agrees with what he’s doing. Some remember when he changed the sentences of 37 people on death row right before Christmas, which upset families of the victims. Also, there was controversy when he pardoned his son, Hunter, even though he had said he wouldn’t do that. This made some people question his decisions. While helping people who were punished unfairly is important, Biden faces challenges in gaining everyone’s support.

Old LIBERAL LIAR Biden is screwing America and American citizens as much as he possibly can before Trump takes the helm. What a vindictive, vile and evil old Liberal Democrat.
