January 1, Biden Administration’s Christmas Tree Cost $139K
The Biden administration spent a whopping $139,000 on its first Christmas tree, with an additional $171,000 spent on “event support” for the tree lighting ceremony.
The National Park Service paid $139,000 to an Ohio-based company to locate, transport, and transplant this year’s National Christmas Tree outside the White House.
Additionally, the administration dropped an additional $171,000 on “event support” for the 2021 National Christmas Tree Lighting Festivities. The December 2 ceremony will include a live audience and performances by Patti LaBelle, Billy Porter, and others.
The White House also spent $41,000 on decorations for the Eisenhower building and Jackson Place.
