January 1, Barr: DOJ “Getting Very Close” to Having Enough Evidence to Indict Trump
ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1776: Congress officially renames the country the United States of America (from the United Colonies).
Former Attorney General William Barr said he thinks the Justice Department is “getting very close” to having sufficient evidence to indict former President Donald Trump.
Earlier this week, Barr told Fox News that prosecutors must decide whether they’ll be able to “make a technical case” against Trump over allegedly mishandling sensitive documents.
“That’s the first question, and I think they’re getting very close to that point, frankly,” Barr said.
But the decision is loaded, Barr said. “Do you indict a former president?”
“What will that do to the country? What kind of precedent will that set? Will the people really understand that this is not, you know, failing to return a library book, that this was serious?” he added.
“And so you have to worry about those things, and I hope that those kinds of factors will incline the administration not to indict him, because I don’t want to see him indicted as a former president.”
Barr believes current Attorney General Merrick Garland is under a lot of pressure to make an indictment because of the perception of fairness and impartiality.
“One question is, ‘Look, if anyone else would have gotten indicted, why not indict him?’” Barr wondered.

I wonder if William barr is on Epstein,s list. The left certainly has something on him.He should be asked if Biden should be indicted because that’s where the real crimes against the United States are being allowed to happen.

Barr is a modern day TORY, working for ‘the swamp’. When President Trump wins, he needs to interrogate EVERY prospective candidate with TRUTH SERUM ! IF they refuse, AMF !
