January 1, Arizona’s Illegal Voting Loophole Threatens Election Integrity

Arizona has a peculiar law that allows individuals who fail to provide proof of U.S. citizenship on their state voter application forms to still vote on federal-only ballots. This law essentially permits illegal immigrants to cast their votes in federal elections, and the skyrocketing numbers indicate that they are indeed using this voting loophole to influence American elections – precisely what the Democrats want.
In 2018, Arizona saw only 1,700 federal-only ballots. However, just two years later in 2020, that number increased to 11,600 federal-only ballots. In the same year, open border advocate Joe Biden miraculously won the state of Arizona by a slim margin of 10,457 votes.
Fast forward to today, with more illegal migrants flooding our border than ever before in our nation’s history, the number of illegal votes expected to be cast is significantly higher. This situation is made possible by a 2013 Supreme Court ruling that found states must “accept and use” the standardized federal voter registration form for national elections under the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
The NVRA form does not require proof of citizenship – it only asks applicants “under penalty of perjury” whether they are citizens, which is about as effective as asking applicants to pinky promise that they are Americans. This led Arizona to require proof of citizenship only for state votes – but not for federal ones.
Scot Mussi, president of the Arizona Free Enterprise Club, a nonprofit committed to advancing a pro-growth, limited government agenda in Arizona, said that the state has seen an “explosion of federal-only voters” — illegal immigrants merely pinky promising to be Americans.
Republicans have been trying to fight back against this absurd illegal voting scheme in the state, but Democrats are not willing to let it go quite so easily. In 2022, the Republican-led state legislature passed two election integrity bills to address this issue and even threatened to charge election officials with a class 5 felony for failing to verify citizenship before allowing people to vote.
However, Arizona’s leftist secretaries of state have intentionally kept the state’s voter rolls as messy as possible to make it harder for election officials to cross-reference them. At the same time, last year it was reported that the secretary of state’s office had received reports of more than 78,200 potentially invalid voters.
None of that has stopped the left from crying “voter suppression” as conservatives fight to clean up the disastrous elections. Even the Democratic National Committee jumped into the discussion, attempting to paint the election integrity changes as unlawful – which is not surprising considering Joe needs these illegal votes to win in 2024.
Why It Matters (op-ed)
The Democrats’ strategy to import illegal immigrants into America and allow them to vote in federal elections is a blatant attempt to manipulate election outcomes. Arizona’s law permitting non-citizens to vote on federal-only ballots is a perfect example.
The skyrocketing number of federal-only ballots in Arizona, combined with Joe Biden’s narrow victory in the state, raises suspicion about the influence of illegal votes. As illegal migration increases, the number of illegal votes is expected to rise as well.
Republicans are attempting to restore election integrity in Arizona, but the Democrats continue to obstruct these efforts by maintaining chaotic voter rolls and crying “voter suppression.” This fight matters because every illegal vote dilutes the voices of American citizens and undermines the foundation of our democracy.

Voting for any city state or Federal office should be reserved for legal citizens of that city or state in America. The privilege/right to vote in America is for legal citizens of America. Does any country in the word that has elections allow non citizens to vote in their elections?It would be absurd.

A Federal law must be passed that requires proof of citizenship, not a dirver’slicense whicvh the biden admin has handed out to illegals. This article just goes to proove that the last Presidential election was won by illegals being allowed to vote. This is America, it is our country. Any state that allows illegals to vote in Presidential elections should be penbalized, all ovtes checked to ensure no illegals, etc.
If proof is required to purchase alcohol an cigarettes, than the integrity of the USA elections must be upheld. No more mail in ballots either unless the voter has registered and requested one. The rolls must be accurate and Arizona and any other state must ensure its rolls are accurate.

Both Democrats and Republicans are at fault. The voters are lied to by both parties to maintain status quo. Under current chaos, everyone gets to take home the extra pay envelope.

Most of our Republican Representatives and Senators here in AZ are weak and ineffective. They do not really want to clean up elections because it’s a good issue to raise more money on. We the people get nothing but endless empty talk. If they truly cared, they would have passed HB2289. This isn’t a difficult problem to solve, but none of our politicians want that.

Arizonaians should worry!!! Their government officials, law enforcement, judges, etc, have been bought and paid for by the Sinaloa Cartel for many years!! These officials are laundering money for the cartel through fake purchases of houses.” The only documents that every journalist in the state, have looked at are just deeds showing that Governor Hobbs bought a house with her husband and that other people with similar names have bought houses in Maricopa County,”

As a voter in Az where our elections are consistently stolen I feel I have 2 choices…1..don t bother to vote because my vote won t count or
2..move to a different state where my vote will count!

I learned we always had to be a citizen to vote. When did that change. A clerk can not change that. Illegals have no rights in this country because they are not citizens.
