January 1, Mayorkas Urges Unity Against Extremism in Military

Published

on

Alejandro Mayorkas, who’s soon leaving his job as the head of the Department of Homeland Security, talked on Sunday about what he thinks Republicans should do. He doesn’t want them to “politicize” the Biden administration’s efforts to find extremists inside our U.S. military.

Mayorkas spoke on ABC News with George Stephanopoulos after a terrible attack happened last week in New Orleans. A 42-year-old terrorist named Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who said he supported ISIS, killed at least 14 people in the French Quarter.

Mayorkas said that we still have to worry about foreign terrorists, which is why the Department of Homeland Security was created in the first place. But now he says there’s more of what he calls “homegrown violent extremism” here in America. He thinks everybody, not just the government, but also local leaders and regular folks, should be on the lookout to stop violence before it happens.

Even though his plans on the border haven’t helped keep our country safe, Mayorkas answered some tough questions from Pete Hegseth, who Donald Trump wants to be the next Secretary of Defense. Hegseth called their efforts to find extremists in the military a “sham.”

Mayorkas said radical ideas can spread anywhere, not just in the military. He thinks the military and the whole government aren’t safe from these bad ideas.

He told Republicans not to make this a political fight but to work on stopping it together.

Mayorkas, now seen as a failure by many, said that the military and government jobs aren’t spared from bad ideas spreading.

Wyatt Matters!

Finding extremists within our country, especially in places like the military, is a big concern. It’s important for all of us to focus on safety, and not just for people in charge. Everybody, like local leaders and everyday people, should help. Working together, we can stop bad things from happening before they start, which is what Mayorkas is telling us to do. We all need to keep an eye out for signs of trouble and act before it’s too late.

The issue of violence and extremism shouldn’t become just another argument between political parties. When bad ideas start spreading, they can be just as dangerous as any other threat we face. Mayorkas believes that these ideas can affect anyone, which is why he wants people to be alert. By working together, we can handle the problem better than if we just fight about it. It’s about keeping our country safe more than anything else.

Sometimes, people don’t agree on how to tackle problems like extremism. Some think efforts to find extremists aren’t working. But what’s important is that we keep trying and don’t give up on the main goal, which is making sure everyone is safe. If we stick together and focus on what matters, we have a better chance of making a difference. We all want to feel safe in our communities and should work towards that, no matter our differences.

If you want to hire someone to do a job, that doesn’t get done, he’s you man, IMO.

IMO, if you want to hire someone and pay them a handsome salary, while he doesn’t do the job for which you hired him, this man is your man. IMO, the taxpayers were bilked of their hard earned money by many in the same administration, who were required to pay their salaries, and are owed a refund of those salaries.

Good to know that, after 33 years of service to my country, DHS thinks I am an extremist and libel to become a domestic terrorist.
If you define ‘extremist’ as someone who loves his country more than his own life and a ‘terrorist’ as someone who is willing to defend our Constitutional Republic, I’m there for you.
The rub here is that we ‘extremists’ are pissed off with crap like this. Until the Left started with this shit, nearly every damn one of us would never ever consider fighting our government. But the Biden Administration is positively riddled with people like Mayorkas. They will not condemn Islam for the terrorism THEY create but look at some severe outliers among Veterans and then declare that Veterans are an existential threat. Yes, there have been terrorist acts committed by Veterans but nothing like we have seen perpetrated by Muslims.

Mayorkas should be thrown out of America. Let’s deport him and the Biden Administration for opening up the borders with no vetting. I don’t think anybody would mind
