January 1, In-N-Out Shuts Down Oakland Location Amid Safety Concerns
Hey folks, listen up! You know In-N-Out Burger, right? Well, Lynsi Snyder, the big boss of that tasty burger joint, had to make a tough call. She shut down the Oakland store because things were getting way too dangerous for her staff.
Since 2020, a lot of folks have been leaving California, and I can’t blame them! Some people say it’s because of all those soft-on-crime policies. It was the first time In-N-Out had to close a store. Lynsi Snyder said crime and violence were happening almost every single day there. Can you believe that? Burglaries, fights, and even shootings right at the restaurant!
When bad stuff happened, calling the cops didn’t help much. The wait time for police in Oakland is about the worst in California, and that’s not okay.
Why did Snyder close the store? She knew she had to keep her employees safe. Running a business is great, but taking care of people is more important.
Back in January, they said the crime in Oakland was rising fast. Robberies were up 38%, and burglaries went up 23%. Even though they tried to make things safer, the danger just didn’t stop. Their folks were dealing with break-ins and robberies all the time.
Even though the store was busy and making money, safety had to come first. Snyder and her team thanked the Oakland community for sticking with them all these years. But they won’t make their workers or customers deal with all that danger. Look at Oakland and you’ll see what happens when liberals run the show for too long. Let’s keep our eyes open, America!
Wyatt Matters!
In-N-Out Burger had to close its Oakland location because crime was getting out of hand, and keeping people safe should always come first. The danger was real with burglaries and violence happening almost every day. Even though the restaurant was popular and made money, that didn’t matter more than protecting the employees and customers. It was a tough decision, but the right one to make sure no one gets hurt while just trying to work or grab a burger.
The problem seems to be that when bad things happened, help was hard to get. Waiting for the police in Oakland takes a long time, which means they couldn’t always get there in time to prevent trouble. How can a community feel safe when the police struggle to respond quickly? These are real concerns that need attention, not only to keep businesses open but to make sure everyone in Oakland can feel safe.
It wasn’t just In-N-Out that noticed the rise in crime. Robberies and burglaries have been increasing since the beginning of the year and haven’t stopped. This shouldn’t be ignored because it affects everyone in the community. It’s important to make sure policies help rather than hurt, and the safety of people should never be compromised. It’s time for everyone to pay attention and work together to create safer places to live and work.

We don’t have an In-n-Out here in NE. Wish we did. Most folks don’t realize that Oakland is one of the most dangerous cities in the US and has been one for a very long time. I wouldn’t drive in the city in anything less than an MRAP.
