President Joe Biden became the subject of criticism for claiming he hasn’t “had a whole hell of a lot of time” to visit the US-Mexico border.

During a CNN town hall appearance, an attendee asked Biden why he hadn’t visited the border amid the ongoing migrant crisis.

“I’ve been there before, I know it well, I guess I should go down,” Biden said. “The whole point of it is, I haven’t had a whole hell of a lot of time to get down.”

Critics took exception and claimed he’d never visited the border during his tenure as a politician.

Cooper: “Do you have plans to visit the southern border?”

Biden: “I’ve been there before.” Ok… this is an easy one to fact-check, fact-checkers paid to handle this stuff (answer: Biden has never been to the border in 50 years as a politician)
